Johnny just takes it anywhere he wants, hits all the edges, goes over the edge and lands smoothly on his belly with a smile....however, I do believe 4:14 was a stinker..and he did it on purpose to keep a bit of fun and humility in his game and level the playing field. That my friends is a truly beyond great musicianship. Can't touch that.....

I like the tone much better on his second solo using the bridge pickup.  When I gigged a few doors down from Johnny on lower Broad in N-ville I'd always check him out on his tele...he's a bad man in so many styles.....an "no"...that wasn't a mistake at 3:25...it was just a walkdown...more of a jazz "outside of the box" thing.

playing outside isnt really a " mistake" it was a very conscience choice to do so
