exactly what is Kudo? If you don't mind me asking. Also did it originate from Mongolia? I'm a martial art junkie so I'm really knowing different cultures and styles of martial arts. I train in Muay Thai myself.

not sure what that other guy was talking about Kudo is Daido Juku Kudo, which is a relatively new mixed martial arts style. it mixes aspects of judo and kyokushin karate, and its japanese. founded by Azuma Takashi. the big different between it in kyokushin is the judo throws and pins and punches and elbows to the face. they wear the supersafet gear because of the striking to the face.

Offcourse is full contact MMA karate, althought I shouldn't call it MMA since karate originally had throws in it...If you doubt this statement look at the kata Nainhanchi or Tekki depending if the style is Okinawan or Japanese. The kata has techniques both for striking and for throwing.

quite interesting reminds me a bit of Koshiki karate competitions, but Kudo seems to have good throwing and grappling techniques as well. If they had something like that here in the USA I'd give it a shot

Quite right! Daido juko kudo founders were originally kyokushin practitioners hence the strong influence found in all the styles that derived from Mas Oyama system.
