You can be spiritually enlightened without being in a physical form, when you transcend to physical form you can either become aware of enlightenment or be unaware of enlightenment, it’s what you want to experience.

wow.... this actually helped me a lot. the part about doing things for people with the wrong motivation. I thought I left the celestine prophecy and a good chunk of its ideas behind, but I just saw why I did so in the first place.

We need to be guiding stars to others, not flashlights.

And to address your other point. No, Redfield doesn't claim to know evertyhing,

but the things he does claim to 'know', you must admit, are pretty spectacular.

I have not as yet seen any evidence to back up those spectacular claims to possessing special knowledge, or any convincing explanation of how he came by them.

There are thousands of Redfields out there, all claiming they have the knowledge and wisdom to change your life.

My advice? Give all of them a wide berth...

I was raised a Jehovah's Witness Rabbit, which is pretty much like Adventists, Mormons, Amish, Plymouth Brethren all having a common origin.

If what he was a scam artist, then yes. However, not only does he truly believe what he is saying, which doesn't make it a scam it it were untrue, but science has proven what he is talking about. Just do the research, it's there. Heck, just look at your own experiences, some people just have a negative energy about them, you can pick it up as soon as they walk into the room.

Furthermore, he's not out 'scamming' anyone, he wrote a book. You or anyone else isn't forced to buy it.

I, for one, think the Celestine Prophecy is an amazing book. I've read it numerous times over the past 12 years, and am again reading it now. I'd rather fill my head with thoughts of "something else" other than "I don't believe this so I'm going to cuss at you and tell you that you're 'stupid' so I don't have to face the fact that it MIGHT BE TRUE". Fear is a hell of a thing to overcome. try harder, people - and stop projecting it into hatred towards others. You'll get NOWHERE...

A great interview with the Redfields. The only problem was it was so hard to hear Paula's, the interviewer's, voice. It is nice that they were able to shed some more light on this book and the movie, as really being a guide in addition to our other religous, philosophical, psychological ones. This is NOT a cult. This is more food for thought. ;)
