The whole documentary is based on one person's opinion (old granny with questionable qualifications) and that opinion is obviously biased. Documentary deliberately omits crucial historical facts and equals historical guilt for Croatian war of Independence, war on Kosovo and Bosnian war. The only goal is to present Croatians as aggressors and fascists. Therefore this documentary can't be considered as relevant, it's rather Serbian propaganda.
Well, I am no fan of the Ustasha and the HDZ, but this documentary is completely biased in favour of the Serbs, and even they should admit it. Who is the old English lady explaining the history to us? Is she a historian, an authority on the topic? The video does not tell us at any point! This is not a serious piece of work.

We Slovenians wanted out of this country only because the economic chaos that Yug was in. We producesed 40 percent of BDP of whole Yug. Tell me would you be happy if you were working for 5 other people that lived in Yug. That was why there was no big fighting in Slovenia, Serbia had no minority in our country. There was a civil war within WWII within the former Yugo that was fought internally between the former Royal Army that was pro-monarchy (the Cetnici), the Fasists (Ustase) and the Communists (Paritzani). All of them did very bad things. When you look at it from within the context of what was done during that era (WWI, WWII, the Blakan Wars e.t.c) they were not as bad as some of the other things that were done back then.

i watch this and laugh . i know plenty of serbs in croatia who stayed here during the war and kept their regular jobs even to today and nobody ever hurt them . there were even a significant number of serbian soldiers in my town who fought on croatian side and today they have all the rights as croatian retired soldiers have . it wasnt at all about who was what nationality , it was who was for croatia and who isnt .

The whole documentary is based on one person's opinion (old granny with questionable qualifications) and that opinion is obviously biased. Documentary deliberately omits crucial historical facts and equals historical guilt for Croatian war of Independence, war on Kosovo and Bosnian war. The only goal is to present Croatians as aggressors and fascists. Therefore this documentary can't be considered as relevant, it's rather Serbian propaganda.

Well, I am no fan of the Ustasha and the HDZ, but this documentary is completely biased in favour of the Serbs, and even they should admit it. Who is the old English lady explaining the history to us? Is she a historian, an authority on the topic? The video does not tell us at any point! This is not a serious piece of work.
I also prefer "Death of Yugoslavia", it is a great documentary, and yes, it is much more balanced than this rubbish.

We Slovenians wanted out of this country only because the economic chaos that Yug was in. We producesed 40 percent of BDP of whole Yug. Tell me would you be happy if you were working for 5 other people that lived in Yug. That was why there was no big fighting in Slovenia, Serbia had no minority in our country. There was 1,3 percent of serbs here and they stayed in Slovenia after the war was over, so please dont mix us in this nationalistic crap...

It is sad that people are missing the point of this documentary. It is the most fair and extensive expose of the situation I have seen. I have no side in this debate - my side is JUSTICE.
There was no justice for the Serbs, who were made the scapegoats in the most foul and inhumane way for crimes committed by all involved.

You are partly correct. There was a civil war within WWII within the former Yugo that was fought internally between the former Royal Army that was pro-monarchy (the Cetnici), the Fasists (Ustase) and the Communists (Paritzani). All of them did very bad things. When you look at it from within the context of what was done during that era (WWI, WWII, the Blakan Wars e.t.c) they were not as bad as some of the other things that were done back then.
