The album will sell a MINIMUM 7 million copies in it's first year. It will also be followed by rapid succession released of at least 2 more full length GnR studio albums - because they have ALREADY been recorded, and will hit stores when Chi-Dem has hit its peak.

People should forget about what band made this album once and listen to it. It's a GREAT digital rock album without a doubt. But with Appetite or UYI in mind, it certainly sounds weird.
This is definitely a kind of album that the more you listen, the better it gets.

When Appetite For Destruction was released, Axl and Izzy were the only members from the ORIGINAL GNR lineup.
Slash, Duff and Steven were all replacements.
No one bitched and moaned about that so why should this be any different?

Heard the whole album and I'm dissapointed to say its fucking shit. Its just over produced and sounds like way too much effort went into it. Guns N Roses was good becasue of the mix of different peoples styles, now its just all about what Axl thinks is good and I'm afraid to say that by it self, thats fucking shit.
It all sounds like watered down versions of november rain and shit industrial, techno type crap.

This album is going to be HIGHLY Unanticipated for me!I will be sure to buy Appetite for Destruction again and get my free Dr. Pepper! I will also get the album for free because thats the price it should be! Its not Guns N' Roses and it never will be Nikki Sixx even said so. Sorry people, but wake up people! Guns N' Roses is Axl Rose, Slash, Duff, Steven Adler, and Izzy Stradlin. It will always be that way and if Axl wants to put the Guns N' Roses name on his solo record, I'm not buying it!

I heard the new album and I noticed the lack of slash in instrumetal. the riffs of slash are in a totally different style. and the voice of the axel is no longer the same, is much more serious its dead, in my opinion should not touch more in Guns N Roses

I wasn't expecting the vintage Guns sound as people with ears knows thats DEAD! so I kept an open mind and thought maybe Axl has come up with something new and killer sounding!! the album bored me!! it sounds too?? produced!! lack of raw guts and enegry!! definately an album made in the studio if u know what I mean :)

You're HIGH. Here's a hint: This song is already the #1 seller on iTunes, and the most heavily played rock single in America right now. That's a bona fide HIT in any book. The album will sell a MINIMUM 7 million copies in it's first year. It will also be followed by rapid succession released of at least 2 more full length GnR studio albums - because they have ALREADY been recorded, and will hit stores when Chi-Dem has hit its peak.

No, it is YOU who does not 'have a clue'. Slash was a look and a sound. Period. He was NOT a prolific songwriter. Ever heard Slash's Snakepit? Nowhere NEAR the songwriting talent of Axl and Izzy. Having to carry that load on his own really exposed the talent disparity in the writing department. Axl wins. Furthermore, I've seen Slash live several times. I suspect you haven't, as you live in Australia. I can assure you, he couldn't play the new material. Enough said.

Its all about the name, i think a name change would have been much much better but i think mostly Axl is in it for the name which is a bit sad. Ive heard most of their up and coming album already and it rocks totally but for me it will not be put with my other guns n roses music collection when i buy the original copy.
