the government dosent even think about Roatan, or these other low lands in honduras, trust me. they should yes, ship out to the capital city and get better fundings.
TheJulienT, I don't know where you get your information! I live in Honduras and there are NO strikes, NO violence, No kidnappings, NONE!! We are all just trying to get on with business and earn a living.
people of the world should know that there are general strikes on thursday and on friday and that thousands of people in honduras have been protesting and are protesting the military coup
mainstream media outlets are not showing what is going on inside Honduras
kidnappings, murders, assassinations, just like in the 70s 80s and this is primarily funded and supported by the united states and its corporate bosses
In case you don't know.. Roatan is an island off the coast of Honduras... it attracts thousands of tourists from around the world and even has many international diving instructors who live there.. Those flags are from American diving instructors that really know what is happening in Honduras and not just follow biased media... I invite you to go to Roatan, take some diving courses, and have fun.. and THEN determine whether it is a military dictatorship.. you can't judge before being in Honduras
Roatan is a tourist resort, it is rich compared to the vast MAJORITY of Honduras.American diving instructors should hide considering what their country is doing..your "invitation" is denied and besides already been to Honduras..people on this video are a minority and the MAJORITY of the people in Honduras are poor and exploited by corporations like Dole and Chiquita and the likes and will never get to see nor dive in roatan..ciao testa di minkia
Sure, sure.. Chiquita and Dole have 7,000,000 job postings to give plenty of jobs for all of us... "testa di minkia".. what a cute little phrase.. would you like some fries with that?
Getting elected. Organizing referendums. Proposing constitutional amendments. These are the sorts of things that happen in a country that is experiencing democracy.
Kidnapping the president. Installing an unelected strongman. Suspending civil liberties. These are the sorts of things that happen in a country that is experiencing a coup.
Getting elected and then selling out to Hugo Chavez, organizing referendums to shred a constitution, proposing constitutional "amendments" to eliminate a four-year presidential term and allow re-election, against the will of all of the people of a country is being a criminal, and criminals deserve to be destituted by all means necessary when impeachment is unexistent in a Constitution, and when democracy and FREEDOM need to be preserved.
Bullshit: There wasn't any constitutional amendment proposed, about Presidential terms or anything else. Since you can't win a debate using reason & facts, you engage in cheap-stunt fabrications & outright lies. You are supporting a corrupt ruling elite, whose 1% own 90% of Honduras' resources, exploiting the poverty & powerlessness of the 70% majority. Zelaya provided the polity a greater voice; the drafting of a new constitution would have involved ALL political parties & then be voted on.
It is OK for you to have your point of view, but do you live in Honduras? I do.. where do you get your statistics from? Are those what you call "reason & facts"? Zelaya only speaks for himself, his family, his corrupt Government officials, and of course: Chavez... Why then has no other person rulled in Venezuela other than Chavez?? Why did Morales in Bolivia, Correa in Ecuador and Daniel Ortega in Nicaragua modify their constitutions to allow re-election? Do they really speak for the poor?
