  • If i had his accent i think i would get laid more

  • PEACE man... :D

  • fuck sister

  • Everyone learns differently. After watching this I know what the problem was! Thanks, Chase... Keep training & stay strong!

  • I remember when i passed almost all the time watching this tutorial and now i can do a wall flip even i can do a wall front :D

  • thnx that has helped =D

  • i will do this when my new set of balls arrive off of ebay, my old ones broke but they let me do a kick the moon lol

  • I MUST STOP BEING A PUSSY!!! its been 2-3 years i train for parkour and still hesitate to do a wall flip!!!

  • i bet he gets all the girls

  • can whoever this positive patty is stop giving everyone a thumbs up

  • tried this, didn't get tooled, but I might have if my friend weren't there for me to land on

  • Hey I can land a perfect wall backflip but I cant get a normal one to work... wtf is wrong with me? lol

  • you get more momentum from pushing off the wall, and your already 1/4th of the way there when you start the flip off of a wall. A regular backflip requires that you do a full flip and you don't get as high.

  • the best tutirial...We are fans of you group..we made a crew ,inspired on your group, the name is 3k crew....jajaja bye

  • lol im scared i might land on my head or neck

  • You practice in a gym until you mastered it, but even then anything can go wrong. Make sure to check the wall and the grip and have (new balance) shoes!

  • dammit im so close i just keep looking over my shoulder so i flip over my shoulder

  • do you need certain type of shoes to do this?

  • depends..if u need to pull urself higher then i recommend getting converse rubber based shoes or even soccer shoes ( non -studded )

  • as a general rule I'd say absolutely not, the great thing about parkour and freerunning is that you don't need anything special to do it: just your body and your environment. But some good, light street shoes with a good grip and some kind of toe grip could never hurt.

  • I can standing back tuck which which i learnt about a week ago but im too cared too wall flip because i tried doing a back tuck of my trampoline and i barley moved backwards any help?

    w/b

  • hey any idea of like what kind of area to practice going back because i dont want to practice hard ground mess up and snap my neck in half

  • if you have a brick house just try it on one of the side of your house

  • alright

  • yeah im gunna learn it on the school mobile they gotta grippy wall

  • hmm thats a good idea

  • Maybe it's a good idea to first try in a gym with a matress or something? Or on grass.

  • i do it in a mat room now with lots of padding on the floor

  • Nice. That sounded good ;)

  • helped me a lot thanks

  • man you're best i learn the wallflip today with this tutorial:) :)) but i'm still learning ( 1 year 6 monts sampler ) peace and thx so much bbye

  • is doing it with two steps any easier?

  • are you from POPLEY?

  • good tutorial

  • this video really made me to learn it so thanks soo much :)

  • Nice tutorial

I have got to ask, everyone keeps telling me to not lean back or tuck untill I am at the peak of the jump, but every vid or person I watch seems to jump up (Not away from the wall) But then they lean back as soon as they jump... Or atleast it looks that way.... Any advice anyone? For the last 2 weeks I have tryed and failed to have the currage!

    Thanks

  • Well, the ideia is to jump up but you also have to lean a little bit back. To get you rotation going...

So jump up and then lean back.

I'm saying this cuz that's how I do it too..

  • IMHO:

The reason, why everyone says not to lean back, is not to jump back, and not to lean too early... I had the same problem like you, but I think, in back tuck, you should have your body NOT completely vertical, so your legs can turn you over. But that is only my oppinion, and I guess, that there are far better trickters than am I. I guess, it is also possible, to backflip with absolute vertical jump, but it is much harder.

    Peace, Train had.

  • DAMN IT i was actually looking for a wall spin

  • Thanks for the tutorial.

  • cool thanks

  • Cheers these are a real help XD

  • me and few mates started doing parkour just recently, your videos are big help, thanks alot, you and your 3run team are amazing, 5/5.

  • know i know why i aint landing thanks so much

  • sweet that really helped

  • i thought a flare was when you split your legs, like kick one foot?

oh well names dnt even matter tht much.

thanks for class tut. ill try these tomoro in town =]

  • im just scared of breaking my back or neck, any tips?

  • watch all of the chase3runmedia videos (that are inspiration, not tutorial) and cionn videos, they will give you confidence. after that, you just have to stop being a pussy because anyone is able to do this flawlessly, you just have to overcome the mental barrier. if you hesitate for a fraction of a second, you pose a huge risk to yourself.

  • is there any tricks you get down pat before trying this???

  • backflip on the ground helps, your gonna shit your pants otherwise - trust me

  • Really? Shit, I thought Wall Flip was easier than a normal backflip on ground, cause in wall flip, you are half way around when you flip, kind of.

  • dude when u do the wallflip u cant see shit but when u land u feel badazz. the ones who need help

4 boys: jus grow some ballz and do it its worth it the way u fell u cant really explain

    4 girls: keep tryin :)

  • he was in the bill!

  • ur goregous and i got my wall flip!

  • post videos then

  • i can do this on a bouncy castle (lol)

but when i attempt to do it for real, i shit myself (not literally ofcourse) any tips to build up my self confidence?

  • Just do it. There's no other way.

  • I dunno, but you just have to face your fear. It might be a good idea to try in a gym on a matress or at grass first time, cause it doesn't hurt as much as stone...

  • thanx chase! thankls to your tutorial i finally done one! :)

If anyone could have a look at me and tell me how i could improve it? thanx

  • Post a vid. Then ppl can tell you what can be improved ;)

  • lol I have mate, I'm one of the video responses

  • Lol. Didn't see it. It looked good from my view ;)

  • dude a tip xd the first time you try this plz use something soft underyou..

  • wat if u lose grip ? lol wudnt u pretty much kill ur self . like ur spine ?

any advice for shoes ? like put super glue on them haha

  • You could get a wet rag and wipe the bottom of your shoes down, or spit in your hand and do the same thing. Just wash the dirt off the bottom of your shoes and you should be fine.

  • If you lose grip then your natural instinct would be to pretty much land on your side, which doesn't hurt as much as you might think. If you want grip, get a pair of high grip shoes, that's pretty much it.

  • I alredy no how 2 do it but wen u demonstrate, i found out that u go the same height 4 both the tuck and the flare

  • that tutroial helping me alot thx you

  • i believe

  • lol we did frontflips at skool like summersaults on flat ground and i was the only one that could do one lol

  • lololol

  • he looks like keanu reeves lol, very good tutorial

  • Kewl. Can't wait to try. I'm 14 and have been a traceur for a week. I've mastered all the vaults and thought I'd move on to flips.

  • hey same man im 14 and just sarted bein a traceur

  • Already? After a week? :S I have done it for a half year and I still cant flip, but I rock at vaulting XD

  • Vault's were pretty natural for me, so I lucked out. Still working on the flips, got a front on flat. That's it in 5 months, lol. I like vaults and jumping over/off of things better, though. We started around the same time if you started a half year ago. Good luck, man!

  • Thanks. You too ;) I like vaulting and jumping over obstacles best as well :P

  • great tutorial!

  • never knew you had to use your toes to push off the wall i normally put my whole foot to the wall ill try using my toes next time great tutorial

  • 3Run is the best!

  • i can do the back of a wall

but i cant do a regular back flip yet

    sux

    any tips

  • off the wall looks cooler lol

  • it brilient! thanks for posting

  • i can do a regular backflip, but im too scared to try this thinking ima flip too much and land on my back

  • If you worry about landing on your head your going to land on your head.....but think of it in a statiscal way. If your high enough and flip a little bit, THERES NO WAY YOU WILL HIT HEAD FIRST. The Probability is lower than 5 percent.....unless your really fat..than your probability is closer to 95 percent sorry guys....its the truth

  • i can't do the rotation,i don't understand...i throw my arms...but i don't know...i fall in head...the head should lay on back?or:-??...please help me:D

  • If you worry about landing on your head your going to land on your head.....but think of it in a statiscal way. If your high enough and flip a little bit, THERES NO WAY YOU WILL HIT HEAD FIRST. • make sure your head looks down to achieve a better spin

  • you really need to pull your legs into your chest really hard as that will get you over as well, and you pull your legs in because it changes the centre of rotation

  • The point is that I DON'T FEEL CONFIDENT DOING A BACKFLIP AND I CAN'T GET A SUPPORTER TOO!

  • I have a question. Can I practice this at home? I can't do backflip or wallflip. I'm afraid to fall on my head. Have anyone a sugestion for this? Thank you very much.

  • hey man.look,do you have a good matris at your home...if you have it than try...or the gym is the best for this...and let me tell you the steps to perform a WALLFLIP..just take a good run ...and you know wat the video told you...and please do not be scared...and when you're done reply me***

  • chase how to get rid of the fear?and i cant get a spotter.

  • Learn backflip first.

  • I can do everything but tha actuel flip! WTF!

  • It´s the best tutorial

  • if your a fat bastard then i dont recommend trying a wallflip and also you dont need to learn a backtuck but you can but they are slightly different just go for it really tbh get a spotter of something

  • for a wall flip do u have o be rather fit? and also where wud i practice this..because if i fall im done. do u need to learn a backflip first??

    plz responde.

  • no u dont need to learn a backflip first. but ist better when u get a soft ground .. try it in a gym

  • wow, didnt know about the whole try to jump up high thing, thanx much

  • I do the flare!!!

  • i ve done that lastweek...but this week i cant do a single wallflip...wat the heelll.....but the tutorial was excellent***

  • I am SO gonna kill myself tryin to do dis

  • ima try this and die but ill do it anyways

  • I landed my first one 2 days ago thanks to this video. Nice work!

  • first time i tried it i landed right on my face

i think it was because i didnt push up enough like he said. but i want to learn some 2 step or 3 step wall flips

  • nice video

  • this is a nice tut i think im gonna be able to do this

  • they dont call me fearless 4 nothin guey!

  • They've been calling you fearless again? You should hear the stuff they say behind your back.

  • i tak waszak ma lepszego wallflipa ;]

  • best tutorial 4 this move

  • I want´t to do a 2 steps wallflip

  • Do i have to learn normal backflip or someth b4 i try learning this? :\

  • I think it's a good idea to learn a normal backflip first, yeah.

  • when i go to do them and when i step off of the wall..i always see myself stepping on the wall, is that normal or should i be looking back before it because i always come up right by the wall and land on my knees

  • Watch the slow-mo part again as soon as he touches hes already going horizontal to the wall. Also the reason you are landing so close to the wall is because you don't PUSH off the wall and not enough height when you start to tuck. Watch again and again.

  • this really helped me

  • i am to sceard i might break my neake or somthing so can you help me with my fear

  • You're not the only one. If I'd try that I'd mostly break an arm or get laughed at.

  • Or both!!!

  • great stuff Chase! I hate those videos on youtube of people doing wall flips by leaning back not tucking getting 2 feet high landing 3 metres away in press-up position and calling it a wall flip, this however has perfect hight & technique ; )

  • Beautiful tutorial and wall flip Chase.
