@RDW7895 Everyone's trying to reminisce and yes it was a while ago now and times were different but it was STILL garbage. Catchy garbage at that, but in no way was it any better than music now, it was still manufactured pop music trying to sell teens the mtv american dream, "spend spend!" haha, there were some great songs, from every decade, but come on people, 2002 wasnt THAT long ago :)

I will say pop music had more of a IMAGE and effect on our culture than it does now :)

@xxpoisenandkissesxx naaaw, styll.. like these songs actually hav meaningul lyrics, and real guitars and instruments, while lady gaga's and justin biebers songs hav shiiiiittyyy lyrics.. they take 2 words, and say it on half the song, and sum of the words dnt even make sense. and alot of the artists nowdays use autotune lol, and the music itself is computerized instruments :) buh truu, pop thosedays was much more meaningful and had more of a positive effect than now.
