nobody has ever liked any cod since cod 4, it really annoys me, first month everyone goes on about how good it is, after that they hate it. this has happened on cod 5, mw2, black ops and now mw3, i think its time to admit cod in general is getting shitty and we should all accept it. cod 4 is fun, i like mw2 and waw, but the community always seems to hate the new cod, not you specifically coz i dislike mw3 but it annoys me, play something else everyone!

If you ask me, CoD 4 was the last good CoD (on PC! on consoles i don't rly care..). It's the first cod with so many innovations, like perks, assists, bullets go through walls, classes and so on. Everything after that is just a copy, with little alterations... Even the graphics didn't change. :/

@Brickstudios12 I've never felt that before. To me neither studio listens to the community. We've begged and pleaded for them to fix their dumb problems and yet for 3 years straight we get the same problems and it gets old real quick. To this day, CoD 4 was the best CoD. I have all Modern Warfares and COD4 is still the best. No special requirments to prevent hitmarkers, etc. Better kill feeds, damn good shit. I like the Intervention over the M40A3 though, but COD4 has more realism. Thats why I like it better

Cod4 is just so fun. No insanely OP killstreaks like mw2 (which is also great fun) and no bullshit like mw3. I would much rather see cod4. Mw3 is just the exact feeling on every map and gametype. I just came back to Cod4 on PC. I've been so used to console all these years but it feels right to be on the PC again. The vast amount of mods such as Rotu and other mods are still very entertaining.
The reason cod4 is beast is because you don't get shity changeable kill streaks, have you noticed. I get killed by tanks in waw all the time do I rage NO not as much as I do on mw2 with the ac130's and the flying tank :D

I don't think it's the simplicity that ruined CoD... Well partly. I don't see why more options such as attachemnts and weapons makes the game worse, as long as it's balanced. The thing is, CoD isn't. So all the new stuff is just not balanced. Killstreaks are also a problem. People camp because of them and they take away from the fast-paced gun game that CoD4 was. Now people don't have the urge to run around, they know if the sit in a corner their killstreaks will get their 50+ kill games.
problem with cod4 is all the hackers. it's ridiculous. mw2 was funn but i can't even play with friends anymore because they abbandoned their servers with it, now its strictly p2p. so yeah. mw3 was the only game i can play. and i like it. something about it. i do bad and i dont rage. i only rage at the type95 using fags

i probably wouldve enjoyed cod4 more if the multiplayer actually worked, i had it a few months before mw2 came out and for some reason whenever i wanted to play online it just said "loading..." and when i wanted to play splitscreen it froze halfway through the loading process

The problem with the newer games is the killstreaks. The old 3-5-7 default is more than enough but the introduction of mw2 made the game more killstreak focused. I'd play a killstreak free call of duty any day.
I hope more big names go back to Cod4. Cod4 seems like a baron wasteland, not much people playing. Hopefully people watch this an are inspired to back and play Cod4.

Ive learned something about the call of duties, the first one you ever play will always be the most fun. I started on mw2, and then played cod4. Cod4 was awesome but still got quite boring after a point. Mw2 is most fun to me even with all the bullshit that game has.

Facts are MW3 is the most flawed COD game there has ever been, Other reason is the series has got average theres nothing new, people moaned about Black ops that was the best COD for balance and maps id say since COD 4. I picked up MW3 on day of release and have only played about 20hours since then its not fun to play even if your good and with a 3.44 K/D id like to think im solid at it, Spawn system is just terrible and maps are terrible. Id hope DLC is half decent with better maps.
If you are sick of CoD, get all 3 Gears of War games. It has an amazing storyline, great multiplayer(almost flawless), DLC that's actually worth the money unlike CoD. Gears of War 3 has excellent multiplayer and dedicated servers and also EpicGames actually care about and listen to the community. Take this advice and you'll never pool back.

I miss COD2 on PC, nice and simple WW2 FPS. In my eyes it's a much better game where you rely on pretty much your own skill. No perks, no helicopters just you, your gun and your team of course. Loved the fact you could only use axis guns if your the axis and so on. Infact I might install it!

The problem with the newer games is the killstreaks. The old 3-5-7 default is more than enough but the introduction of mw2 made the game more killstreak focused. I'd play a killstreak free call of duty any day.

@psnZYKRON Actually that's not true... Mw3 kills slower than Mw2 did, and just a bit faster than BO did. There are no fully auto 2 bullet kill weapons in mw3, in mw2 the scar-h, tar-21, ump etc. So that argument is invalid. Hate the killstreaks? Shoot them down, not hard. I think the killstreaks in mw3 are underpowered. My pave low/ac130 gets shot down after like 5 kills...

I love cod4 and always will I bought black ops and sold that in about two days and never bought mw3. Bf3 and gears are amazing they are different shooters but fun as hell. Try one of them or both you will be guaranteed a blast.

Ive learned something about the call of duties, the first one you ever play will always be the most fun. I started on mw2, and then played cod4. Cod4 was awesome but still got quite boring after a point. Mw2 is most fun to me even with all the bullshit that game has.

personally i think the main reason i dont like the newer cods is because theres just to much shit, i love the simplicity of cod 4 and mw2 is probably the highest i would ever go, i do play black ops when i feel like putting on my try hard pants, but cod4 is always gonna be the game i come back to cause in my opinion, its the best in the series, now if only i had xbox live to play it lmfao

@RamonTheMighty well i mean like the addition of weapon proficiencies and the different killstreak packages and stuff was just a little to complex, i mean i like the game its just i prefer being able to jump right in without having to set up a crazy class, and in mw2 when they added pickable killstreaks and pro perks, it was confusing for me, im an oldschool gamer, i prefer simple stuff lol very simple

Facts are MW3 is the most flawed COD game there has ever been, Other reason is the series has got average theres nothing new, people moaned about Black ops that was the best COD for balance and maps id say since COD 4. I picked up MW3 on day of release and have only played about 20hours since then its not fun to play even if your good and with a 3.44 K/D id like to think im solid at it, Spawn system is just terrible and maps are terrible. Id hope DLC is half decent with better maps.

If you are sick of CoD, get all 3 Gears of War games. It has an amazing storyline, great multiplayer(almost flawless), DLC that's actually worth the money unlike CoD. Gears of War 3 has excellent multiplayer and dedicated servers and also EpicGames actually care about and listen to the community. Take this advice and you'll never pool back.

I miss COD2 on PC, nice and simple WW2 FPS. In my eyes it's a much better game where you rely on pretty much your own skill. No perks, no helicopters just you, your gun and your team of course. Loved the fact you could only use axis guns if your the axis and so on. Infact I might install it!

Ya MW3 isn't that fun for me I just wanted my gold l118 and when I got it I was playing cod 4 a bit more cuz it's my favorite game also but my ps3 broke down when I was playing MW3 with my friend so that game is stuck in the disc drive which really blows and I cant play cod anymore so total bummer but loved the gameplay
