  • I just have one question. What the fuck is stopping us from making more of these cars? I mean, the technology exists. Why does everyone keep on bitching about running out of oil and pollution when we have this technology at our disposal. Fucking governments.

  • Completely idiotic, childish videoon many levels. But a car that runs on farts, think of the poss..................

  • @tampicokeed You are completely IDIOTIC!!

All you do is make DUMBASS camments with out PROOF!!

  • @901Jetta Oh...., look at the last 15 seconds of this video again carefully. I hope u dont think that crap like that is remotely possible. Like i said the thing about the cat is a more realistic energy device than whats proposed in the last 15 seconds. Air powered engines have been experimented on for 100s of years. of course they work--very inefficiently. And---nobody yet has demonstrated an air-powered car that gets remotely enough miles per filling to make it feasible. Educate yourself.

  • @tampicokeed NO you need to educate yourself! You make a idiotic comment on one video to me than not show your proof, Than go all over youtube making dumbass comments like you know how all things work with NO PROOF!

The proof in this video is in the video YOU SEE IT WORKING.

  • @901Jetta Really?? All you see in vid is an air car driving around a town. Old news--happened in 1903 in london (Liquid Air Co. manufactured a # of air cars). Problems were lack of torq and huge costs of compressing air--very ineffic energy system. Air engs hav ben used in industry since mid 1800s. MDIs great "innovation" was their "active chamber" which heats the air(using fuel!!) doublng energy output. Sorry, this "innov" was 1st used in air powerd torpedoes in 1904!!! LOL.

  • @tampicokeed The proof in this video is in this video YOU SEE IT WORKING!

  • @901Jetta If u r going 2 pretend 2 b interestd in a subject u need 2 educate yurself in th basics of that subject. Obviously u r not interestd.

The "proof" would b when they produce a car 4 sale 2 th public. Its ben over 10 years--they havent, they never will.

Another proof would b to announce an open, honest, verifiable test, and demonstrate any usable miles per filling of air.(perhaps even only 30 miles) They havent, the wont.

U sir are one gullible person.

  • @tampicokeed No the proof is that you can see the car runing in this video so that means that it works, But ya it has ben 10 years so maybe thay got lazy.

Do not think that I'm not educated, It is you that is not cuz you cant even anser me on the hho we where talking about.

  • @901Jetta Are u capable of understanding anything i say in my comments??? You keep repeatng things that were adressed in my previous comments--nothing sinks in. Ive said enough to u about these subjects. Cruise around utube and record all my comments-- they would make a good textbook for u to study. There is no glory in trying to best ignorant people........

    Adios and Feliz Navidad!

  • @tampicokeed You are doing just like all naysayers YOU ARE AVOIDING THE POINT THAT IT IS WORKING!

    Sping will not work.

  • @901Jetta The MDI Co: 2002 said they would hav car in prod in 2004--never happened to date. 2007 said car would get 84mi/filling city, 50 hiway. As of today, this has never been demonstated. Th ONLY publishd test of ANY air car was a 4.3mi test. As of 2009, Tata Motors (india) plannd to launch a car w/MDI engn. As of today Tata has deletd ALL referenc to MDI fr its website(even their archivs) 901Jetta, it is easy to see "pie in the sky" when u have no experienc making pies--or flying them!

  • The commentator of this video really needs a lesson in physics.

  • Yeah and our government won't allow these cars to be put into major production because then no one would buy gas or oil and then companies will go out of business. Our government would rather continue to kill our earth then prolong the earths lifetime.

  • @CAPlaneSpotting Some reality here. There hasnt been any aircar yet tested that went over 4 miles.

  • I learned in middle school that perpetual motion and free energy are PROVEN LIES...

  • If you want to get the Magnetic-Generator plans

Just search Google for "Best Magnetic Generator Review"

Click the First result (Skip the Advertisements)

I found it to be a great resource

  • YOU NEED ENERYGY TO CPMPRESS THE AIR how stupid are you

  • I don't get it. Forget hybrids or EVs. Why aren't we investing more into vehicles like these?

  • THE GUY WHO INVENTED IT WAS MEXICAN IN 1988. DON'T GET CREDITS FOR THAT!

  • Dude, don't say out loud that air is free! If the rich find out they are gonna want to charge for it.

  • The poeple saying it can't be done are no better then the people who saw cars for the first time and said..."get a horse". Science is not a closed subject, everything must be tried, and no one can say they know this wont work. To say you know something for sure is to say you know absolutly nothing.

  • LOL Fail !!

  • WHHHHHHHHHHHAAAAAAAAAAAT! Why does oil have to drive most of our countrys?

  • u know ... i believe the earth would have been much better off if we had capitalized more on this technology. i that were the case these cars would have been almost fully developed to the level of our now fossil fueled cars. the atmosphere would have been much cleaner and the standard of living would be alot better. why arent our governments trying harder to invest more in the use of renewable natural resources? i cant help but believe its because of the monopoly keeping us hooked to fossil fuel

  • @rickeyrudey I believe the world would be better off if people who failed science, history and logic at school slowed down and did 5 minutes research to discover this is an ancient, inefficient ,short range CON.

  • LMFAO @ So how much electric or gas energy does it take to compress the air for the car? More energy than the compressed air will yield. *FREE ENERGY* So funny.

  • The logic of that last bit was ridiculous. You can't use compressed air, to compress more air,and expect the whole thing to just keep going forever...that's like saying you have two wheels with a belt connecting them...you turn one wheel, and it turns the other wheel...which turns the first wheel, again, over and over to infinity. It's a nice Idea but it simply doesn't work. This is pretty elementary physics...the guy who made this video was either a con-man or quite uneducated/unintelligent .

  • It's not free unless you can build a wind powered air pump to 'charge' it.

  • Title needs fixing, there's no such thing as free energy.

  • @smackbabie The sun can power every living thing on the planet, every part of you is sustianed by the sun, and yet we can't use sunlight. I guess that new Solar power power plant in France is a waste of time. I wondor why they built it then?

  • @truthseeker010101

    That's just semantics.

Techincally, sure, the suns energy is free - it is however a finite resource.

    At any rate, keeping the comments on track and focusing on the actual video;

My comment was relating to the complete and utter nonsense the narrator blurbs out at the end of the video.

  • @smackbabie the sun is NOT a finite resource for human beings becuase when the sun dies we die. Your logic is flawed on that one. Who thinks in terms of 5 billion years when it comes to humanity anyway?

  • @truthseeker010101

Yet again, a futile attempt at semantics.

    Actually, my logic is flawless.

Fact: The sun will run out of fuel eventually. Weither humanity is still here to see it when it happens won't change anything.

If, however, one were to adopt your rationale; I could just as easily say that humanity will eventually leave this planet to settle somewhere else - and then see our suns "death" as it were through a telescope.

Either way, my original comment had to do with the video.

  • @smackbabie since where talking about humanity and your premuse goes beyound that YES your logic is flawed, go take a class in philosophy and learn from socrates.

  • @truthseeker010101

Cute, refering to the socratic method are we? Ok then:

My claim is that the sun will run out of fuel eventually. Hence making it a finite resource of energy.

And that observation by, or existence of, humanity is irrelevant to the outcome.

Following in the spirit of Socrates in that his method is a negative method of hypothesis elimination, it is now up to you to eliminate any possible contradictions in my claim.

Now dazzle your bewildered onlookers with your brilliance

  • @smackbabie - will it happen - the demise of our Sun - in the morning or in the afternoon? I have a compromise in the night, so I want to be prepared...

  • So what happens if you put helium in it?

  • @success4111 As an engineer I do have an open mind. And I don't doubt that the car runs on air, however the problem is what the narrator asserts towards the end. If you think about it, a certain amount of energy is stored in the tanks. As you drive, the energy is converted to kinetic energy (motion) and heat (friction). The kinetic energy can be used to compress the air back, however the heat is lost. This is where free energy fails, namely by the Second Law of Thermodynamics.

  • haha, what free energy?? its physically impossible

  • They should just kill all the poor people so there is less cars to build DUH!!!!

  • they took a good idea a shit design and added another shit idea. should have created useable affordable compressed air cars. thats why the prius took off and the tesla roadstar

  • it isn't possible to use the energy from the compressed air to compress more air and power the car. This is a really cool idea and awesome concept and could be very useful if applied correctly, but if what was stated at the end of the video was possible you could power the entire world for eternity off of a single inflated tire. but you cant cause it violate the first law of thermodynamics

  • thx for sharing ... we need solutions like this

  • Just thinking about my last comment and I will take Jacques Fresco's advice: So to rephrase - "a car that runs on air and refuels itself - a perfect cirlcle with no emissions, ever" - that sounds like a fantastic concept - how do you propose to make it work?

  • This just proves what I have always suspected - most people have no concept of basic scientific principles. - WHY is this video labelled 'free energy'. It's laughable.

  • Wha? It takes only a little energy to compress air? Just plug in an air compressor and watch the lights dim... that power most likely comes from coal duh.

  • @erickthegreat98

So just use a wind up air compressor or one you jump up and down on......

  • Free energy? An engine that runs off of itself? Someone needs to take a thermodynamics class.

  • @BigDaddyCaddi someone need to do some research in the past of science, many times of the mainstream thinking have been proven wrong. many people long time ago said you can never send a voice over an em wave, now we know thats nonsense. be open minded

  • @BigDaddyCaddi well you could stick a supercharger on the engine to compress the air to power the engine!!!! Free energy!!!! Yes don't worry I was being sarcastic

  • If these sold all over the world greedy oil tycoon owners would be having heart attacks left and right because buying gas at gas stations would no longer be needed to travel.

  • @bisexualbuffthug That's exactly why they weren't sold decades ago. You think this guy is the first person to think of this? The energy market is on lockdown.

  • Your link has nothing to do with this vid! you are now off my list.

  • 15K is cheap!! It's amazing! Oil companies are the evil of this planet. Wake up.

  • What does the link you put up in the description have to do with this video???

  • "all for about 15 thousand dollars" lmao that was the twist to it all and they said it at the end of the video wow.

  • "all for about 15 thousand dollars lmao that was the twist to it all and they said it at the end of the video wow.

  • fuck this go buy a lamborghini

  • Why is "FREE" energy compared to air powered vehicles?

  • I find the huge number of links to discredit the "study" of this technology more problematic. Is it perfect? No. Is it possible to expand upon it and make it better? Yes.

  • @KamaraSune "Better" With the current ACTUAL 5 mile range and 6hp motor even 100 times better is still pretty average and still totally energy inefficient

  • I'm not one to say an unproven idea is impossible but there is no way you can get perpetual motion with an air compressor, it's just not feasible.

  • $0.00 to fill up my car?

Shit I must've missed the memo about compressing air requiring no energy or resources of any kind.

  • Only one problem, the law of conservation of energy. Compressed air being expelled would not be 100% efficient and thus wouldn't be able to compress enough air for perpetual motion to truly be achieved. Also, what about heat during winter months? A/C during summer? This would be a very uncomfortable car to drive.

  • Perpetual motion is possible. Butter a slice of bread. Strap bread on to the back of a cat. Cats always land on their feet but the buttered bread strapped to the back of the cat will create a force of attraction caused by the law of buttered bread always landing butter side down. In theory, the cat and bread should spin in mid air perpetually until the connection between the two is severed.

  • @Robikus Empty gun = Useless, Bullet with no gun = useless. Gun plus Bullet makes a new thing, called weapon. Connecting a cat and buttered toast creates a new thing, it doesn't combine both initial rules.

Anyways, did you see that animated video on youtube? pretty awesome eh?

  • @HeadShot360IN Just as the properties of both gun and bullet are retained and even enhanced by their combination, the properties of cat and buttered slice of bread would do the same, "I have both robot and Mustache, your argument is invalid."

    (image google "i_have_both_moustache_and_robot.jpg")

  • @Robikus what if the cat lands on it's side? neither the bread or the cat feet are on the ground

  • @fairyheli2 Impossible to perfectly balance. Even if you got all of the atoms and molecules in a state of equipoise the indeterminacy factor would cause instability resetting the process into motion. It is a delicate thing tinkering with God's designs of the universe.

  • @fairyheli2 yur not quite visualizing this concept. If a cat is dropped from any height large or small, it always lands on its feet--try it it is absolutely true. Buttered bread alway lands on its butterd side, thus there is no way the cat could ever hit the ground. Robikus is a freeking genius, on the order of einstein! This is the only free energy devise that i have seen that has any possability of working.

  • The perpetual motion thing at the end was really silly. It destroyed any credibility you had. The motor used to compress air at the filling stations will have considerable emissions too - mores than a motor for direct drive because there are big heat losses in compressed air systems. I would have liked to have seen this point addressed in the video with supporting figures for power and losses over an equivalent direct drive system.

  • @MakeYourOwnMotorhome I also don't see how you can store the energy for 200 miles of motoring in tanks that size. I did a quick calculation. The figures would not stack up for this. You could get a handful of miles maybe and performance would really drop as the pressure decreased. The physics doesn't work, sorry about that!

  • I like what you are doing with your YouTube channel! I checked out a few videos and I like what I see! Great job!

  • @SuperSoylent haha that was so funny kudos 2 u.

but i still dont think the air powered car is a bad idea, 200 miles per charges is very good and u dont need any chemicals to make a battery which would pollute the environment. but perpetual LMAO

  • Comment removed

  • Yes, lets use compressed air to run the air compressor to compress more air. Wow, I'm starting to get a little dizzy. LOLOL Love it.

  • asdasd

  • cannibal ;L

  • Why not use human flesh to run our cars? it would work a lot better :P

Burn the flesh, which makes the car move, all thats left over you can eat!

Its a car which feeds you and gets you moving and it.. RECYCLES humans!

  • @DeadRiser1 Solent Green IS PEOPLE! LOL

  • BullSchit... you Now how many Energy you need to Compress Air ??Ask a Diver or a Paintballer they use CompressAir.Bullsh..... better way is use HHO and built a good HHo Engine and then you Producet HHO on every WindTurbine in Country and thats better and sheeper as PB or Shell

  • fizzguts you spent a whole lot of time pouncing on everyone here spewing negative garbage about people you never even met or facts you never even witnessed. The model in my home area traveled more than 20 miles between fill-ups, and it was 20 miles that the man traveled for free. Shoot it down all you want biach but free is free.

  • @KamaraSune

    LYING ARSEWIPE.

Fact NO air cars from MDI have EVER been sold.

Fact You HAVE to refill with a 3500psi dive tank compressor and that fuckwit is NOT FREE.

Fact MDI only published range test was 7.2Km about 5 miles

    Moron, tards & cretins

  • Powered by your farts.

  • You have to use energy to compress the air in the first place. Granted, it might come from solar or wind, but that's

    Not over-unity is it?

  • How do you compress the air?...gotta use some kind of compressor..those usually run on GAS

  • I love it. It IS the kind of thing we need.

    bury the GREEDy oil billionairs.

  • @StMeade "I love it. " You like something with an ACTUAL five mile range at the speed of a fat bloke on a bicycle that is 5 times LESS efficient than an electric car? Strange

  • air well spent !!

  • the air we breath put to good use! no waste of space !

  • Fake! Gay!

  • one of the most relaible sources of energy is the sun ... as soon as a solar cell with over 60-70% efficiency is made, then we are free from this energy crisis.

  • 2miles on 1 tank? you have to fill it with air?! thats too hard!!! ;D

  • @tacoterminator

That is actually perfect for me, to go to work and back, since I only live less than one mile away from work, so it does have its uses, and also going shopping at short distances!

  • @vinnyskinny "since I only live less than one mile away from work"

you could walk in 10 minutes. Sigh

  • if the car that runs on compressed air has a generator that runs on compressed air, where is the generator getting ITS compressed air from?

  • wow awesome!!!!

  • If the project is credible...Governemenent must invest in it!!!2 soutions:first,he does what he can with few money and we must help him.Second,he's a fucking lier,we must hang him!!!

  • In a french tv doc, experts says for this car it's ridiculous. When tanks are full of air it's equivalent of 1,2 liter of gas.....Then since years i heard about this car and nothing on French roads. Why governement doesn't invest in it?They don't thrust G.Nègre!A car working on air, mouahahaha!!Too funny!

  • Jesus fuckin crist ! Even for U-Tube !

    "that's fake and gay ! "

  • Magnetic Engine Technology is better than an air car!!! The first of many reasons is that you do not need tanks to hold the air. and two you do not need pistons and all the parts needed to keep this engine operating....

  • The German Diesel-Pneumatic Hybrid Locomotive, 1930

Just before technical journals stopped reporting on compressed air locomotives, they carried stories on a 1200 horsepower full-size above-ground locomotive that had been developed in Germany.

  • thats a pretty cool idea, with the air compressor on board compressing its own air running on compressed air. Then it dosnt matter how efficient the air is, its constantly being refueled.

  • how much is to charge a car with presurazed air for 100 miles at 60 km/h ?

  • @OopsAiee The best this piece of crap has gone is 5 miles and that costs about $1 for electricity to run the air compressor

  • This is nothing new. A guy back in my hometown built one of these 30 years ago and ran the hell out of it every day. Back then every gas station had free compressed air and he filled it up maybe 1-2 times a day depending on how much he drove.

  • @KamaraSune "he filled it up maybe 1-2 times a day depending on how much he drove"

Yup and driving it quarter of a mile between refills must have really impressed the mouth breathers in your hometown.

    Sigh tards and nitwits

  • There are over-unity devices out there , although like the rest of the free energy devices, the likes of JP.Morgan ,Rockefeller and the Government won't allow them to be used or seen. If they were to allow them out , then how could they push for selling oil and now carbon Taxes for the global warming scandal.

We could of had free electricity but JP Morgan shot that idea down because he said it wouldn't make him any money.

  • "There are over-unity devices out there"

    Bwahahaha

Yeah right for sale to technically illiterate nitwits

  • Neat car, not free energy, stupid presenter

  • Finally perpetual motion. Why not have a battery that runs an alternator that charges itself? LMAO. Stupid announcer. There is no perpetual motion.

  • Compressed air is not a source of energy; it's a way to store energy. At best, you're going to get back the energy used to run the compressor. More likely, you're going to get back a small fraction of that energy.

The advantage might be that you could indirectly run your car on something clean but bulky, like hydroelectric or solar.

When the presenter talks about using the compressed air to run the compressor that's really just another way to say he failed high-school physics.

  • Indian carmaker Tata Motors is voicing concerns about the range and durability of the compressed-air powered minicar technology

  • it is funny because the aggrevated and angry people CANNOT SHOW PEOPLE TO THE TRUTH EITHER.. obviously all they can do is ridicule and lash out and deny possibilities due to fear of change and the security in repetition of behavior . hence they accuse others of what they themselfs are .

ALSO IT IS QUESTIONABLE ; WHAT ARE THE MOTIVES FOR SOMEONE TO BE HERE THAT IS NOT INTERESTED IN FREE ENERGY ?( but enjoy to repeat over and over behavior how its 'fun' to read 'brainless' comments) hrm

    love

  • And what is the motives for those interested in free energy?

    Simple

a complete lack of understanding of how the universe works.

A total inability to grasp basic physics.

Worse of all such huge gullibility that makes them think wishful thinking and unreasoning blind faith a virtue.

  • this is an invalid statement , as this is not what motivates those trying to spread free energy , it is infact compasion for all creatures including the universe as a creature itself, which can be esily understood as a double toroid shape with a singularity at its center causing all (continual) motion in the universe.

i supose you have been to collage and thus know everything about 'how the universe works'

again we do not like to see pointless suffering and will end it with information .

  • @STiELzephyr asks "WHAT ARE THE MOTIVES FOR SOMEONE TO BE HERE THAT IS NOT INTERESTED IN FREE ENERGY."

Basically, to keep people from wasting time and money on things that aren't going to work, ever.

Every hour someone spends chasing free energy is an hour they don't spend working on something that might actually work.

  • i spent 4 hours watching marko rodins presentation and i belive they where some of the most important hours of my life anyone who understands what hes saying and watches past the 2nd or 3rd part will agree.

HP says his coil is %60 more efficient than the most advanced on earth , he has been approched by defence contractors ,

i have not spent a penny on the truth.

    your statement is erroneous

  • again i have spent no money so your statement is false .

steorn have shown overunity and it is working . i have seen many working devices many that ask nothing of me.

you think anyone is going to build machines for 10 - 20 years of there life just to show as prototypes to rip people off , FOR DONATIONS OF $10 a time !!!! NO THAT WOULD NOT BE PROFITABLE NOW WOULD IT !

AGAIN ,i have seen many inventors asking nothing in the form of help and try not to make claims to keep the likes of you happy

  • @STiELzephyr

I'm gonna guess all steorn has shown is that he's not competent to operate a voltmeter. Set up an overunity machine, let it run a week with no input enegy, then get back to me.

Lots of con artists get rich $10 at a time, but I think most of these people are just self deluded and genuinely believe in what they are doing. They may exaggerate a test result here and there, but they're mostly just honestly mistaken.

  • LOOK UP 'STEORN' public demo in dublin prooving COP>1 to the world with there NO CEMF motor , with successfull replications done by JLN labs of france and many youtubers, user TinselKoala was the first to close his loop, just search steorn then order by date not relevance ....

the comments on these videos make me laugh ... some people can get so aggravated and angry at those who take these videos at face value and do not thoroughly find all the answers and the WHOLE TRUTH ,..

    love happieness

  • "LOOK UP 'STEORN' public demo in dublin"

    Yep

They failed miserably less power out than in. A complete bust.

  • I want this car...

  • This has been "going into production next year" since 2000

Google e.volution South africa if you doubt me. IT"S A CON

  • Safey of these ting cars is my only problem.

  • You'd have to compress the air to more than just a liquid to make it actually practical in cars.

  • Compressed air is one of the least efficient means available to store energy. A significant part of the energy used to compress it is lost in the form of waste heat. When you use that air, it becomes cold, just like those dust blowers you buy at Office Max. When it cools like that, the pressure inside the tank drops until the temp returns to ambient.

I wonder if these guys are really that dim, or if it's just a deliberate lie.

  • Strange, why do I find here comments only that make sense?? Normally, you can find comments from these brain-amputated monkeys that claim that this shitty air car is doing good on the environment.

  • And you are even from the USA. I am impressed. Sorry, but normally most of the stupid comments on "air cars" come from people in the USA.

  • @vtmegrad98 its a investment scam, tones of these feckign free energy dicks are pulling the same stunts, i know of 7 of them of the top of my head, who had made videos like this and got 6 million euros invested from stupid investers with money to burn. pure scammers, wankers.

  • @vtmegrad98

Don't ask me how they did it, but coal was removed from mines in Camore alberta, over 40 years ago, and these things carried tons of coal!

  • @vtmegrad98 only 25% of each gallon of gasoline burnt is actually used to power the car and the rest is wasted heat.. yah compressed air might not be the next big hit but it might be more eco friendly still

  • @vtmegrad98 ....Solar powered air compressors?

  • @BlackJag92 $40,000 worth of panels to run the needed 6 kw compressor for a system 5 times less efficient than and electric vehicle

  • @fizzguts OH definately, it was just a thought though. Unless they find a compressed air geyser somewhere this seems pretty inefficient. Badass sounding...but inefficient

  • why not use one or more of the tiers to tern a compressor gee wizz, lol wish i could afford to run with it, lol

  • You had me until you started with the perpetual motion thing at the end. Which even 8th graders can figure out why it wouldn't work.

Didn't the marketing people pay ANY attention in 8th grade science class?

  • What a confused video! Whoever put this together needs to take a physics class because they have no idea what they're talking about.. Michio Kaku should also be embarrassed to be in the beginning of this video.

  • What is ironic about Jules Verne having the same birthday as that guy??? NOTHING. It is not even slightly interesting, let alone ironic! Please!

These people need to buy not only a dictionary, but also an elementary physics book and read the section about the thermodynamics and the conservation of energy.

    Perpetual motion, my ass!

These lies do nothing to promote what is otherwise a nice little car, even if it is not powered by magic.

  • This is a joke, right?

    Perpetual motion!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha

  • The ending of this is stupid. I understand using compressed air to get around -- why not.

But using compressed air to create more compressed air? What an embarrassing idea.

  • its not about being free, its all about that we stop polluting the air. even so, we have more then 3 billion people on this EARTH!! almost every single person in those billions have a car or 2 cars, and they all run on a gas, and to get the gas to your car, you need to go to a gas pump, and to get the gas to a gas pump, your need a diesel driven truck and for him to get his diesel its the same situation, all them way back untill you get to the area of which you need gas for the machinery --

  • to mine the oil from the earth. now about the billion issue, it takes just around 270 years to count to 1 billion. now how many people do you expect are on this earth??? now multiply 270 by 3. thats just around how long "in years" it will take you to count to 3 billion. and if you save money like coffee. make your own at home instead of buying from resturaunts. you save an estimate of $1027 dollars per year. think about how much the atmosphere would change if we stopped with ---

  • gas cars, and replaced'em with air cars, if we even have to use electricity to power the air generators for the compressors, its still now as much pollution as you may think. cuz now picture this::: all gas cars are gone and now we just have all the other bad pollution problems. our pollution will go DOWN 10% every year. maybe even more. and thats alot since our pollution (even as your reading this) is going UP 22%. ao please, reconsider your next car, and buy this car.--

  • look up more information on this car on other pages. and news websites. because this car is going into production sometime around feburary 2010. it sells as much as a regular car. between 8,000 - 14,000 dollars. i really want humans to live on earth for another 2 million years, not die off in 1,000 years. YOU are killing this planet, and YOU can help keep it alive from doing very little changes in YOUR life. !!!!GOD BLESS EVERYONE!!!!

  • "look up more information on this car on other pages. and news websites. because this car is going into production sometime around feburary 2010"

Don't be a technically illiterate cretin This has been "going into production next year" since 2000 Google e.volution South africa if you doubt me. IT"S A CON

  • How about a moment of rationality, yeah?

It's a pneumatic car. It's recharged by expending electrical energy to compress air. That energy is expended by releasing said pressure.

That's all well and good; you're basically using an air tank as a very inefficient battery. It might even be cheaper per unit joule to do it that way - but you'll never get quite the efficiency of a real battery, nor the power density of gasoline.

  • When I say inefficient:

Air compression converts kinetic energy into heat and pressure. The heat dissipates, while the pressure is stored. The portion converted to heat is, therefore, lost. There is no way to avoid this.

In converting pressure to kinetic energy, there are losses due to friction, and carnot losses - that is, there must be a pressure differential for a pressure-based engine to operate. As this differential gets smaller, so does the engine's efficiency..

  • When I say, "Very": The initial losses due to heat via compression are about 50% of the input energy. Include in the roughly 90% efficiency of an electric motor, and the roughly 70% efficiency of your average centrifugal impeller, and you've got a storage efficiency of about 31.5%. Compare that to the nearly 80% for a LiIon battery or 95% for NiMH.

Meanwhile, pressure engines top out at 60% efficiency, while electric motors, again are at 90%.

    Pneumatic: 18.9% efficiency; electric: 72%

  • HOw boring here. Normally I amuse myself by reading comments of brain amputated monkeys who write about how this air car stupidity saves the world and blablabla but here for the first time I find common sense. How boring.

  • Actually, at this new company, I feel like my brain's being amputated. I'm sure in another month or so I'll be pretty funny to read.

  • I ll be waiting ... I mean if you watch the other videos about air cars then you will find all these monkeys saying that the air car "saves the world" and "reduces CO2" etc not matter how much you are trying it with reason and with enlightenment about basic thermodynamics.

  • Where does the energy comes from?

  • yeah it is completely impossible to get free energy but that wont stop hundreds of angry rednecks from blowing themselves up in their garages to disprove it, so i say let them try. LOL

  • How is that free???
