Well strange indeed to see a top "JP" list without the obvious "Metal Gods" (1980) "You´ve Got Another Thing Coming" (1982) "Eat Me Alive" (1984) or less famous but still fine tracks like "Solar Angels" (1981) "Private Property" (1986) "A Touch of Evil" (1990) "Burn in Hell" (1997) ...Well at the end of the the day it´s all about taste .-)
i know ican come up with 20 or more priest songs, that would fill the bill and u guys would love it! hell bent green manalishi, rapis fire headn out the hi way. devils child, desert plains, running wild solor angels steeler. ram it down. locked in. hot for love, all guns all guns blazing. free wheel burning, jugulator, metal meltdown, the legacy judas is rising.rock a rolla. parental guidence.
@TheDannyhyde there is another song i desperately wanted to include in the top 20 it was 'rapid fire' ..... i love that song so much ... it is the typical definitive judas priest song ... it has everything in it ... halford's awesome diction, fantastic british lyrics, superb double bass drumming, thrash-like riffing, awesome solowork by glenn and kk and the bass is loud and thunderous. if there is a song that defines what judas priest is all about... it is 'rapid fire' ...\m/ proto- thrash metal
Thanks all of you ... @mazhammer british steel has always been a special album for me ... The heavy crunchy sound of guitar the catchy tunes the rebellius theme halford's diction they are all perfect in the album ... I love killing machine too though ... I dont think priest has a bad album ... The closest it has to a bad album is probably point of entry or turbo ...
Great chioces mate , and to narrow it down to 20 must have been bloody difficult . Love The Priest ..but I can't get on with British Steel ! I know it,s all a question of preference but I can't see how the press rate it above Killing Machine .Anyway , great choices and I think I'll go along with your number 1 .Superb .
