When the momma bear arrived they should have released the cub to the momma bear and kept out of the way. The bears would have gone back to their den and everyhting would have been fine.

As for your other point, the cops did their best in how they handled the cub. At that point, did they know that the cub's mother was in town? Or that the cub still had a mother, for that matter?
As for the mother bear, that's what tranquilizer guns are for. But they should have used it way before she climbed the pole.

@Poomba1989b putting down the mattrasses is a good idea but in the heat of the moment stuff like that is easily forgotten. as for the rocks they were probably embeded in the ground pretty deep and again heat of the moment. she'd weigh in at around 200-275 lbs i think, not exactly easy to carry anywhere. i'm not sure but i think it would take some time to shut off the power which would also deprive a neighborhood of power. if a person was up there they'd come by with a buckett truck.

She got shot and drugged, electrocuted and dropped to the ground with no soft landing, possibly deadly. It got dragged by its skin on the street and who knows what happened after. All because those people were chasing it. I'd like to see anyone be chased and surrounded by dozens of those bears and not think of climbing a tree in fear.

Bears don't, if you startle a momma bear with cubs in the wild, its not going to ask you nicely to please go. It's gonna charge and attack you and probably kill you.

So it is ok for humans to go in to bear territory and kill THEM (hunting for fun) but they are not allowed to protect them self in there territory , yet if they even come to human territory they are killed ?
And i was refering to other acts by humans , were destroying the world around us and do nothing about it .. we kill each other over racism , farm animals in terrible conditions so food is cheap , fuck humans .. your stupid and you know it

In fact many tribes and nations around the world still rely on their hunting skills just to survive and provide with their loved ones. @BIGGESTxxEMINEMxxFAN um..youre so wrong. the bear came into HUMANS' territory and yes we did everything we could to get the bear out. when it wasnt leaving we had to tranquilize (not kill) it so that they would be able to move it out. when the bear was burned, we helped it to full recovery. now...let me ask you...if we were on bears' territory would it nurture us back to health after it bites our limbs off? nope..it would eat us. so there... bears are savages, not us =)

@Poomba1989b putting down the mattrasses is a good idea but in the heat of the moment stuff like that is easily forgotten. as for the rocks they were probably embeded in the ground pretty deep and again heat of the moment. she'd weigh in at around 200-275 lbs i think, not exactly easy to carry anywhere. i'm not sure but i think it would take some time to shut off the power which would also deprive a neighborhood of power. if a person was up there they'd come by with a buckett truck.

@shqiperiany That bear got hunted with guns and ropes before she got trapped on that pole in a desperate attempt. All she wanted was to find her cub. She got shot and drugged, electrocuted and dropped to the ground with no soft landing, possibly deadly. It got dragged by its skin on the street and who knows what happened after. All because those people were chasing it. I'd like to see anyone be chased and surrounded by dozens of those bears and not think of climbing a tree in fear.
