I know what you mean. No one I know can understand why I love YouTube. But it is a real inspiration, and a fantastic community that has grown from nothing. Many see people like Shawna as just another airhead skipping about in front of a camcorder. But I always see the artistic input, and I know from experience how much work and dedication goes into making these short videos. It is no coincidence that the best videos come from uni students who are studying art or media.
