After weeks of fighting, Muammar Gaddafi has killed hundreds, perhaps thousands of his own people using modern warfare technology.

In a new news release, the UN Assembly has voted and passed the motion to enforce a no fly zone over Libya in order to turn the tables on this madman.

Taking part in the mission will be Canada's own CF-18 Hornets, a total of 6 aircraft. Good luck, and godspeed, gentlemen.

Much respect to the Canadian forces. Canada has one of the best air defense program in the world.

I watched the TV show "Jetstream", which was all about fighter pilot program on CF-18 and the hell the new recruits have to go through and being rejected. It also showed how other air force pilots come to Canada to learn and train in Canada.

Not only did that program made me respect Canadian forces, but I used to be all about the F-16s and F-15. That program made me the biggest CF-18 fan!!

I'm pretty sure this is the same guy I saw fly at the Base Borden air show in 2008. He went from 0 to 30,000 feet straight up in about 30 seconds. Awesome.

One thing I found about CF-18 was that it was so easy to fly - yet unforgiving at mid-low altitude. Probably is the best frontline multirole fighter currently. I miss my days at 19 Wing at Comox. I guarantee you CF-18 (or any F/A-18 for that matter) can take on Su-27/30 any day.

That was awesome! looxgood im jealous, wish I could of done what you have. Its a great aircraft, although I confess, the P51 D at the end is one of the, if not most beatiful plane ever built.

Oh by the way, I did not graduate fully. Dropped out due to personal matters (defense budget cut in 1994 by federal liberals made staying in military rather risky...went to UBC for business study and never looked back...though sometimes I miss flying).

WOW! Look at the ground he covers in that CF-18. Nobody else can puts the BALLS TO THE WALL as much as these canucks!! the initial agility of the Hornet is astronomical..and the precision with in which they fly omg. Could Easily take out a Eagle C or F/A 18 E or F. also appearing smaller on radar couldn't hurt either.

Actually tests were done recently and they proved that Canada had the best pilots and snipers in the world. We just dont have any of the fuckin military equipment to show what Canada is actually capable of.
