The other day, my pastor told me that Daloris, a woman who had been a part of our church for a long time now, won her fight with breast cancer. he kept talking.... "she died yesterday and went to heaven. Going to heaven eithor way is a win..." It made me stop and think- think how god saves our lives... but also sometimes he takes our lives- because then we will be in a better place. I know suicide isn't the answer to issues: but i want to be in that better place.

Praise Jesus is LORD. I used to be an atheist doing medical research until I cried out to God and He spoke to me and filled me with the Holy Spirit. Praise the Holy Lord. Please pray I find a new job after my prejudice atheist coworkers fired me for being a christian and after Holy Spirit told me I should have an attitude of Faith at work and no longer need to validate hypothesis or make calibrations. Because of Jesus I was twice as productive as my coworkers,but still I get terminated!!! :(

We have been doing a study on grace at our church. What an amazing anthem song. In spite of my failures and disappointments, This song has reminded me this week ,to continue to focus on Jesus and to seek his face. God is all around and I find when I can focus on him rather than myself, true joy abounds. Praise God! Your GRACE is enough.
My life hasn't always been perfect. It is now with the joy, peace, and love of my God. And he does watch over his children. He has placed in my life some of the greatest people I have ever met. Living for God means to love Him fully. David is the first that pops to my mind of one who loved God with a full heart but fell short many times. We will fall short but Gods grace IS enough. The key when falling short is reaching out for God and never giving up on the hope that He will pick you up. Jesus is enough.

My life hasn't always been perfect. It is now with the joy, peace, and love of my God. And he does watch over his children. He has placed in my life some of the greatest people I have ever met. I dunno bout you but I got one of the greatest church family out there. They have helped me where my own family won't and ever will. There love and joy for me is so overwhelming. I have never experienced this before and it shakes me all over. Thank you My God for my church and your love for me!! AMEN!! :)

I know that there are thing going on in the world that are horrific- to individuals or even villages of people, but the people who trust and believe in God, even when it gets hard, are the ones who will be saved. And I want to be one of those people who gets to be with God forever- don't you?!

@Adcroy Look, I have faith that those people who die and live in suffering, although it is not fair, will be rewarded ten-fold in heaven. Of course I don't have all the answers, but is it personal greed that is preventing the help of those people? could you do more to help them? i know i could, and will! but you can't blame god for world poverty- he gave us free will; it is our choice (and everyone in the worlds) to do the right thing. that is why he is amazing.

@hollychubbisawesome its not just trusting and believing in him, you need to show him your faith in your actions by doing things that are good in his name. you would have a better chance of joining god forever if you shared his message with you classmates even if they are mean or violent with you about it than if you played xbox 32 hours a week. living your whole life for god is difficult, but you have to completely give your life to him, it's hard for me too because i'm 16

@iansanity1995able I love your faith and encouragement to holly. I encourage you to dig deep in scripture and stay close to the Lord. Loving Jesus is easier than "pleasing' Jesus. Living for God means to love Him fully. David is the first that pops to my mind of one who loved God with a full heart but fell short many times. We will fall short but Gods grace IS enough. The key when falling short is reaching out for God and never giving up on the hope that He will pick you up. Jesus is enough.

Why would God answer my prayers. I use to pray for help for petty things such as doing well on an exam.
It makes no difference. 16,000 children die everyday from poverty related reasons. How many of them do you think prayed for mercy?
I think there is a God. He just seems to ignore his people. I can't see mercy and grace on earth.

@RatRocky These horrible things happen not because God doesn't care but because we live in a fallen world. God loves everyone but frankly, we screwed it up and deserve nothing. He loved us enough to sacrifice himself for us, but that doesn't mean the effects of our sin and disobedience don't still taint the world. Until we are brought out of this world and out of our fleshly desires, Sin will always be part of us. God hates the sin, not the sinner. It is by his grace we live at all
