Well they probably bother because they have something to say. However there does seem to be a correlation between morons (to the point of misspelling common words) and those ignorant to the truth. It's probably because they rely on mainstream media as a source for their news. Also, since they have problems reading and writing (some even hearing), they might do alot less reading and writing.
