We want to remove the 4m engine and auto from our 1975 Toyota Crown and install a V6 Commodore engine but all the Toyota guys are saying no. We have a VX Accliam Commodore that has a great motor but the Commodore guys are saying to fit a VR.
@fuckard351 without being sure i think you can use a smaller belt and reroute it somehow, there are many combinations ,and lose those 2 cause it will be added weight, or have a couple of aluminium plates cut and drilled with bearings to replace em where the pumps would go,like free spin pulleys, you follow me mate?otherwise youll be carrying 7-10 kg of added weight
hey mate did the firewall need to be massaged with a hammer or anything? how did you get the gearbox in there and do you think a manual box will fit aswell? cheers
Nice to see a small car for once with a decent engine in it, now for the rest of the world to catch up. Four cylinders suck, and that includes Subarus!
Are you thinking of putting Commodore suspension and wheels on it? Not sure about the rear end with those leaf springs though. Now you need a 120Y with a V6 to match the Corolla!
Im doing and Turbo RB30 conversion to my KE30 corolla.. what and how did you get that radiator to fit?? =]
