  • Dude , you sound like my old friend that lives in michigan

    is you name holden ?

  • @deathvideos900 No...

  • @superriku11 ..... riku do u still have a scratch account

  • @Rikudo44 Yeah... why? I don't upload stuff to it anymore. Do I know you?

  • @superriku11 I emailed u who I am....old friend

  • ..... wait what if they type killall Activity Monitor??

  • @OmegaDebu Well then you wouldn't be able to get into Activity Monitor to quit the process either. Activity Monitor is just one way to kill the process though, you could always go into Terminal to do the same thing.

  • Hey i think im doing everything right everytime i open it up it opens up terminal with it and says "No matching processes belonging to you were found"

  • @flyingtrace That shouldn't happen. Have you changed any files in /etc or /Library in any way? Everything I show in the video should work on any Mac.

  • @superriku11 Nope everything is basically set at defaults I recently re-installed my OS

  • @flyingtrace Well I really don't know what to say then, it should work, but I don't know why it doesn't. Sorry.

  • @superriku11 That's alright but it was a great video everything else worked :)

  • CLEAN OFF YOUR FRIGIN DESKTOP!!!

  • when i open file it opens terminal, then closes it end never says "How are you."!

or any thing else! i think this is because killall Terminal!

    my file file:

    while (true) do

    killall Terminal

    say You got hacked.

    done

    please help, a0down

  • @A0down As I showed in the video, if you go to Activity Monitor and then search bash, then simply quit bash and the script will stop.

  • @superriku11 Thats not what i ment!

I mean that if terminal closes, it doesn't work!

  • @A0down Oh, it will work, you just have to killall Terminal as your last command before done. You put killall Terminal before your say command. Below is the proper format of your script.

    while (true) do

    say You got hacked.

    killall Terminal

    done

  • MAN LOOK @ UR DESKTOP!!!

  • @SteveStimbler I do everyday. :D

  • holy shit dude...your desktop gives me a headache xD

    how do you find anything...

  • Actually, that's the only way I can find anything. If stuff is "organized" then it will take me too long to go through all the folders, or I can't remember the file path to a certain item, and I just can't be efficient. When everything is in front of me, it takes me about 3 seconds to scan my Desktop for the item I want and open it.

  • @superriku11 what ever works for you...knowing me...i take my time, make folders and i find things with just one word search....

  • By one word search do you mean Spotlight? If so, that takes like a whole 5 seconds to display all the results, I don't like waiting for that.

  • lol how old are you?

  • @GeneralCange y dose it matter he slays you

  • hey.. i did everything in the video and sent a zipped folder to my friend.. it was hilarious when he opened it.. :)

commentary is good..make more vids.. 5*

  • Sounds funny! Thanks, I have been thinking of making more videos recently. I have actually gotten some comments within the past month saying I should make more videos. I probably will sometime soon.

  • ey kid im going to warn you all of those files will eventually crash your computer so i would recomend you to ask your parents to organize them into some files that way that nice mac doesnt go to waste.

  • Well, I had my Desktop like that for a long time, and it never crashed. And recently I cleaned it up and put stuff into folders. It's still not organized, it's all in one folder called Everything. If anything was organized, I could never find it.

  • @wiiplayer09 It is not like a windows machine doesn't matter how much he has on his box.

  • Haha, funny. "It's not like a Windows machine".

  • great video, i am learning a lot from your you tube.

  • Thanks! I am glad to hear that, I have been thinking of making more videos, I might upload a new video soon!

  • Script kiddies are cute.

  • Thanx for the video. It's helped me loads with Terminal and creating "embellished" exec files for java programs. Keep up the good work.

  • Thanks! I might make more videos soon.

  • type in emac

    and then choose snake :D

  • It's actually emacs, but thanks for the tip!

  • lol im no mac expert lol i thought it was emac XD

  • That's ok. But you also have to hold Escape (esc) and press x after typing emacs to be able to select snake (there are many other selections too).

  • i cant compress it

  • What do you mean? Does Compress "File Name Here" not appear?

  • M8...you're desktop and dock look horrible. you really need to clean it up. remove stuff from the dock and put those files in ur HD

  • Nah, I like my Desktop and Dock the way they are.

  • thats ok...its just i wonder how the fuck do u find things LOLOLOL xD

  • Eh... I can't really say where I find things it's just whenever I download something, it goes to my Desktop, whenever I save something, it goes to my Desktop, whenever I get a new file, it goes to my Desktop, everything just goes to my Desktop.

  • lolllllllllll

  • is that really all of your files or is that a desktop backgroud? if so can I have the link? ^.^

  • That's not a picture, that's really my Desktop.

  • take a screenshot and email to him you might aswell lol

  • Well, that would be a good idea, but my Desktop is no longer like that.

  • fair enough! xD

  • Could you add a 'kill all activity monitor' to make it so the person can't shut it down? That would be brutal.

Could it modify the login items to have itself run at logon as well? That would probably require admin password. What a nasty little script that could be, I'm glad you aren't trying to prank me.

  • Yes, you could do killall Activity Monitor to make stopping it harder but not impossible, you would just type top in terminal find the program's PID and then exit top and type kill "PID Number Here". And you could also add it to the startup items but you would also have to killall System Preferences to prevent them from removing it from startup items.

  • Hahaha good video!

Can you send messages from 1 computer to the other one in the same network through the terminal?

  • Yes, but you would have to use Terminal to check if that mail is there.

  • omg, u desktop is full! lol

  • That isn't even close to how much I have on my desktop now. And I can put way more things on my desktop, that is nowhere near full.

  • take em off :P

  • Why?

  • messy

  • Well, if I organize it, then I can never find it. And I like it like the way it is.

  • thts what finder is for :P

  • But I mean it would take longer to find and I would forget what is where and then I can't just click it on my desktop which is faster.

  • does this damage your computer or is it a safe thing to do?

  • Any Mac Tricks video I make will not show anything that will damage your computer. And if it did why would I be doing it?

  • good point and just asking xD
