I live in the US. Me and my cousin are buying some and a track. We are trying to bring it here. Hehe. We're filipinos. There are alot of filipinos here so, we want to bring them here. Mine's coming in 4 days!!!
fast car. most probably handwound motors and zapped magnets from the speed. I haven't seen any tamiya motor or car come that close in terms of speed. I had no idea what brand of cars and motors I was running(AC it's called here in the Philippines back then), but they were faster than tamiyas.
lol.. more than likely the car is set up to its maximum potential, and is using a hand winded motor, with a ultra magents, that is ran by a rechargeable battery, used to have a car(shadow breaker Xchassis) back in the philippines, set up for technical track with a loop, yes a loop like the ones for a rollercoaster, i ran that car with a hand winded plasma dash motor ran about the same it not a lil faster..always won the races undefeated for two months and got banned
yup, you could never get speeds like that with a regular tamiya motor and gear setup. when I used to play (circa 94'-96') we started building our own motors, and had gear setups that were called "direct drive".
Tamiya is horribly stupid for ending its Mini 4WD promotions. They could even bring it over to the U.S. (with more promotion) and be making huge money.
Hey,,, the track so small ==" Sure cant see the car la....Haha....If u run on a track with at least 30KM long...and with many curves.....I am sure the speed will be different....different track using different inner part of motor mar.....
hey same here in CEBU, philippines it suddenly died yr 2001 dont know wat happen they stop organizing competions and promotions. but im willing to comeback this hobby

That's not a Tamiya car. A Tamiya car can't run anything close to that fast. It's a custom built car with custom built motor.

This car is probably going about 50-60 miles per hour. The motor is assembled and wound by the person who built the car...
