I got that nasty little hijacker, and got rid of it manually also in safe mode. I did first shut it down in the task manager, then deleted it from the "my videos". I then went to the registry and did a search for privacy there and deleted everything that was not associated with any of my programs. No ill effects. By the way, I am using WinXP Pro, 64 bit.
