that is because you don't use it well. Astral Projection can be used on other person instead of self and you can add the finishing spell to prevent them from returning from their body.

The talismans were originally created thousands of years ago and Shendu obtained them and absorbed their powers.

Then why does Dal Lon Wong call them the Talismans of Shendu and not the Talimans of the Chinese Zoidac.

It never actually says Shendu created the Talismans, he may have created the stone vessals they were contained within, but he would have originally stole them, as none of his demon bretherin display the same powers.
