  • WTF i didn't know billie could solo LOL

  • nice cover, im debating whether should put the red, silver.blue pack of lace sensors in my strat, anyways you should REALLY get a big muff, it will compliment the lace sensors nicely, being the fact that billy used in during the MCIS era. nice cover

  • @me412fan

i've owned a big muff, i prefer the boss MD-2. Billy did make some use of the Big Muff in the studio, but he said they don't cut it in a live performance.

  • dog is eating sweatshirt, thats funny :)

  • thanks for the quick response. I dimed everything on the md2 through a marshall and am getting great sounds. what about pumpkins tab sites? are there any that you thing are especially good?

    thanks again

  • @blakesurber

i have the tab books for Siamese Dream, Mellon Collie, and Adore, if you can get a hold of those i would def reccomend it, and a good site is spfc.org

  • your videos and sound kick ass. thx for the playing. what are your setting on the amp eq and the md2?

    thx

  • @blakesurber

thanks, i usually crank everything to the max on the MD-2 (tone, bottom, distortion, & gain), and the amp i keep the treble somewhere between 6-8 and the bass at 10. If you just experiment and take time to mess around you can get what you're looking for. I change my settings all the time so dont hold me to what i say lol

  • Nice work, you should get a big muff!

  • Once again, awesome job! Next time my band is in Boston you gotta come out. We'll talk Pumpkins and piss off my singer. He hates them lol

  • I really enjoy watching all of your pumpkins covers! You do a great job, I was wondering what pickups you have in your strat? Specifically in the bridge.

  • @yoda779

    thanks, they're lace sensors, blue-neck, silver-middle, red-bridge

  • how do you feel the blue p-up on the neck? on mine it was very dark sounding ...

  • @muaythai4lifelife

I like it MUCH better than the stock neck pickup, which I always thought sounded a little too muddy. I like the blue lace sensor a lot, it sounds deep and bassy, but not muddy or too much bottom, all the notes sound clear

  • @shatteringglass thanx ;)

    cheers!

  • i was mad about this song :)

i love the palm muted part and the solo....simply fantastic!!!

    great cover yours ;)

  • Nice sound. Nice playing. Do you have a band?

  • @VinceKrat

thanks, no band at the moment.

  • Wow! Another amazing Pumpkins cover!!! Keep em coming beautiful!

  • nice, I have the same strat just with stock pickups

  • Very nice! :)

  • Wow, amazing job, really delivered!!! The tone and playing are great!!! Such a fast song! Do you recommend using a higher guitar tone for playing this??

  • @Starlite992

thank you! Im using the bridge pickup, the tone, gain, bottom, and distortion levels on the pedal are cranked all the way, on the amp treble is between 6-7 and bass is at 10. I mic'd the amp with the microphone away from the center of the speaker, facing at an agle at the outer edge of the speaker, as the Princeton amp tends to be a bit too treble-y.

  • awesome tone for this song!

  • Was hoping to see the solo, but excellent job none the less.

  • Great sound + playing! Would have loved to see you take on that solo :)

  • excellent! well done :)

  • @DiceNCG

    thanks!

  • pick ups sound great

    song sounds great

  • @PersianTowTruckMan

ya i love the pickups, sounds a million times better than the stock single coils! thanks for watching

  • Fantastic :)
