  • It's a shame that soul, r&b and funk can't go back to being as good as the golden era. There is probably some really good music out there today like Maxwell but its so difficult to get to hear it as you have to sit through so much rubbish to find it even with sites like Youtube. I can't believe how good EWF were and how we took it all for granted back then.

  • i need this cd.

  • Only artist that reached me on this project was Kirk Franklin doing September . Everything else seemed to lack creativity and imagination . But hey....what do I know ? I'm just a Musician and EWF's greatest fan . Personally.....if you can't hang with EWF.....don't try to lie your way through it . I expected and was excited about Mint Condition's offering....but it also fell a little flat . What happed to raising the bar people ? But hey....were talking about Earth Wind & Fire !

  • Ahhh...a kindred spirit. It sounds like you've summed up the probably with just about EVERY form of contemporary black music: No creativity and NO imagination. Yeah, it takes talent to do someone's song just like them, but it takes NO imagination. Gospel is still innovating, though, because all the old funk cats that played on the albums we loved back in the day went back to the church. I'm a musician, myself, and I don't claim to be religious, but I'm keenly of aware of what's going on.

  • Odawg96....being a musician , this is definitley why I am so critical of this project. When I speak of creativity and imagination , I reflect on other projects such as Herbie Hancocks "Possibilities". This was very tasteful and reached beyond the normal expectations. Another disappointment to me was the tribute CD for Luther Vandross. It also fell a little short and felt like there was a rush to make it and put it out in order to increase sales due to the timing of Luther's passing . So sad !!

  • For real every song on hear is HOTTT. Great CD
