Will I believe when Jesus say don't pray like them, He wasn't saying don't pray long or short. He was saying don't pray in vain. Don't pray and your heart is not in it because God wants all of you. Amen

Psalms david prayed day and night Daniel prayed three times a day in the presence of the Lord giving thanks and Moises prayed on mount Zion for a very long periods of time in my opinion with my time with the Lord i pray as long as i want because we have so many things to give thanks for and we have so many things to pray for and always praise Him. It's true... I have prayed like that before.... with big words that show everyone that I am a more advanced Christian, etc... I am glad that the Lord has brought me through that. Don't be a manpleaser!

God gives you so much, God is so kind, God is so amazing ... yet Christians still havent found a 'way' to pray ?

It truly is sad to think of how 'basic' it is to have sense and find how nearly 'every' religion has a similar form of prayer ... kneeling .. why ? Because he is The Most Magnificent The Most Gracious.

Our God. 1 God.

Islam is the only religion that shows you just 'how' to pray. You kneel. Jesus is a Prophet in Islam. But in your eyes, hes a God.

@mammal46 I think he might be poking fun of how religious "uncle hank" is. Prayer is about talking to God, our Father. Once we start making it into something more than that in order to make ourselves look good- you look foolish and are in sin.

@graphicDisciple You are right, Amen is a typical ending to a prayer, but perhaps he was referring to some pray-ers who use the word "amen" too many times during a prayer. E.g. God, you are our God *AMEN!* You rule the universe. *AMEN* You love us first *AMEN* and we love you. *AMEN* Please help us *AMEN*. Amen *AMEN*
