This ride has such an awesome first two or three drops. It's got a really nice setting in the woods, too. It's a shame that it's gotten extremely rough and the last part of the ride just DIES. Because the strong floater airtime in the first half of the ride is pretty amazing.

The front seat of this ride isn't too bad, but if you sit in the back it whips you around. I'd recommend going on the back, since it's more intense.

1: It's not wood. It's steel. The definition of a wood or steel coaster depends on the track, not the supports.

2: Even if it were wood, it only goes 54.8 mph - it wouldn't make it into the top 20 in terms of speed.

dragons decent is wayyy worse!! this ride is amazing! i go went on it a billion times when i went! and we would stay till it was dark and it is way better at night while its dark. i go on by myself too and im skinny so i get whipped around in my seat which is the best part!! don't be scared of this rollercoaster cuz when i go on once, guarranteed you go on another 5 times..definetly worth the line wait!!

When you are on it, it seems like it goes a lot faster! i sat in the very back each time i went on it, and since it jerks you behind everybody else, i couldnt move my neck for a week after. UMMMMMM.... this is definitely not even close to being the world's largest or oldest wooden coaster. the largest would be the Beast at King's Island (if you're going by length: 7,359 ft, compared to Excalibur's 2,700 ft) or Son of Beast at King's island if you're going by height (218 ft - compared at Excalibur's 100 ft.) And Excalibur was built in 1998, so I have no idea what made you think it was the oldest either.
