I've listened to Sandy since i was a kid and my dad played her songs... i love em still got all the best ones.... these songs will still be great in years to come.
@Reine72 Yes Reine you are probably right, but I am now 63! and I have been looking from the age of 16 for the right one, tried lots, married three, still no luck ! guess I will just have settle for the one I got now. Life is a bitch, then you die. Have been listening to Sandy Posey since 1966 when I walked past a coffe bar in Auckland NZ, and heard her record playing, I was dating an Auckland girl called Heather, nearly jumped ship for her, I think she was probably the right one.
wrong! People hurt, not the love, love is wonderful, unfortunately not everybody is able to feel it. A man is MAN just if he can make happy a woman with his love.
...well if that's the case then....i would have wanted to be born a man. : /

Catchy - but the words to this song are pathetic - how on earth could a woman go into a studio and record this - or am I missing something deeper???

One of the very best singers of the 1960s and 1970s, equally outstanding at Pop and Country.

So much pathos, so little time.
Still, I always did like her voice. Nice hillbilly quality that we don't hear anymore.
