@012posh If you want to take time and really sit and enjoy everything, I would suggest definitely the Washington Monument, the White House is pretty, but you can't get SUPER close unless you plan a tour inside the white house 6 months prior, the capitol building is gorgeous, and definitely, if you like museum type things, check out the Smithsonian's. Do some research before going and pick out the places that seem like theyll be interesting to you. The aquarium really isn't much, more for kids

@012posh I'd also check out the National Zoo. But give yourself a lot of time and bring water. It's a big place, but it's really amazing to see all the animals.

DC! Been there so many times mostly because of school field trips it got annoying after awhile! I live like 20-30 min. away and its pretty cool but there is so much walking and usually its really hot!
