@piratebri There are scripts for every episode. The actors are told that they CAN improvise, but most of them don't just throw the script out he window. Steve Carrell and Rainn Wilson were supposedly the best improvisers.

That's a load of bullcrap. Most of the scenes were actually written to seem improvised and natural, you know to give the whole documentary feeling. There's been a lot of great writers working on this show, that have done a really good job with makeing the show great. Of course there still are improvised moments in the show, one of the most famous being Michael Kissing Oscar.

And Ricky Gervais should learn to pronounce his words a little better instead of talking like he had a fricking potatoe in his mouth.
