  • @KenzieBear00 Glad you like them!

  • i use them and i love them!!! oh and did anybody notice that orb that randomly appears on the video? kinda creepy lol

  • @sxygs89 It was creepy! I'm not sure what happened there.

  • You go, girl! I can tell you worked hard on this video. It's not that easy to find them. They can easily be missed, despite the fact that they sell them at places like Target. All my brushes are from Ecotools because I too have sensitive skin and I think it's cool that I'm not hurting an animal just to make myself look pretty. And they are so cheap, in comparison to other makeup applicators. And most of all, THEY ARE SO CUTE LOOKING! SO CUTE. SO PRETTY! SO, JUST SO!

  • @aoabai Aw thank you! I really appreciate that.

  • @rebeccakelsey You're very welcome and I like all your videos. Well, the ones I watched so far. Ha.

  • Okay thank you! Also, is the new Kabuki brush good? (The stippling one?)

    Thanks! - Lizzy x

  • How good is the Ecotools Angled Eyeliner Brush? I'm on the lookout for a good angled eyeliner brush that is EXTREMELY think and a bit stiff. Most angled eyeliner brushes I have are too dense or not as stiff for putting on eyeshadow as liner, or for defining brows.

  • @RaidensONLYfan I personally like it. I use it for those two reasons but I'm not sure if they would be as stiff as you'd like.

  • Such a helpful video! I just purchased the 6 piece brush set today. (the one you showed first) and wanted to check out the others!

Please show us how you clean your brushes!! x :)

  • @BlueAsYourEyesBeauty Cleaning videos are up already if you haven't seen them yet =)

  • thanx for the video, i just got the eye shadow brush collection from eco tools, i love them they are so nice and soft.

  • @missniv555 Me too!

  • @lifelikeyou Studio Basics and EcoTools are entirely different even though they are both owned by Paris Presents. Just because one line they make isn't eco-friendly that doesn't mean EcoTools is not as well. All of the brush handles are made of bamboo (a renewable resource) and the ferrule is made of recycled materials. I personally love them.

  • i nvr seen this video this long before but lots of effort XD

  • Ah you're so lovely! <3

  • Cool video. I had the first roll up brush set, but all I have left is the shader brush:(

Just picked up the Alicia Silverstone brushes :) & the eye shadow beushes, travel size, I have. much love.

  • Cool video. I had the first roll up brush set, but all I have left is the shader brush:(

Just picked up the Alicia Silverstone brushes :)

  • Thanks for this video. It's great that there are firms out there trying to do something good for the environment. And great of you to purchase from them and support them of course.

You're right the 2011-design is soooo cute. (I feel like the 2010-design is a little more grown up, but the two flowers are so much more fun)

This video was so helpful, to find the good, environmentally friendly brushes and you taught very well what the different kinds are for. Perfect for beginners.

  • @TheSweetCo Thank you! I get what you mean, the new flowers are more playful. That's probably why I like them so much haha.

  • @TheSweetCo you got that right XD

  • This was super helpful...I was considering investing in sigma brushes but i'm glad that you mentioned these..I'll have to check them out :)

  • @heyitskate08 Thanks Kate, I've wanted to try some Sigma eyeshadow brushes since they have a lot of variety but I'm not sure if I'm willing to make the investment..

  • @rebeccakelsey Yeah I totally know what you mean! I'm starting cosmotology school this fall and I feel like i really need to invest in some good brushes

  • Very nice video. This made me want to go and buy the ecotools brushes.

  • @MakeupPrincess813 Haha, let me know if you try them! =)

  • i don't think i ever knew that about denser and less dense kabukis.

  • @MsBinkies I didn't realize that for a long time either.

  • You look gorgeous! Love your nail polish you have on!! xoxo Whitney

  • @themakeupstation Thank you, it is from my mark. store =)

  • I actually have several ecotools brushes myself. I have that first set you bought and the blush brush. I am absolutely in LOVE with the blush brush. It's the only one I use and I'm thinking about purchasing another one. I actually haven't seen the Alicia Silverstone items at my local target/cvs/rite aid/walgreens but I will keep a look out

  • Have you tried M.A.C brushes? If not, what other brands did you try aside from EcoTools, and how do they compare to EcoTools?

  • @lilhiphopgirl101 I haven't tried MAC brushes. I've only used mark., IQQU, and ELF. ELF wasn't that bad but mark. and IQQU have sheaded on me and felt too hard on my sensitive skin. IQQU is soft at first but if you don't clean it after every use it feels really abrasive, I'm not sure why. mark. isn't that soft since I believe most of them are made out of horse hair, I'm not sure. EcoTools is extremely soft since it is synthetic (softer in my opinion) and I like what they stand for.

  • cool but expensive

  • @TheAmyfur I wouldn't consider $10ish for a brush set to be expensive but it depends on where you live. Out of the US it costs more I believe.

  • I used to have SSOO many ecotools brushes but I didn't know how to properly clean them and all the hairs fell out of them all... now I'm slowly rebuilding my colection.

  • @123Shelbi That is so strange! I'll try to see if I have time to do a video on it. I have a few videos I need to put up before I go on vacation mid-May but I'll try to sneak it in. BTW, check your YouTube messages. I sent you something.

  • @rebeccakelsey What did you send? lol, there's nothing there...

  • @123Shelbi So strange, my connection must have stopped or something while I was sending the message. I re-sent it now =)

  • You're the sweetest! I love how you put so much time and effort into your videos. Thanks so much Rebecca :) You looked so beautiful in my Seventeen magazine by the way!

  • @pcillar Aw thank you! I really appreciate your support =)

  • can you do a video on how you clean your brushes? that would be really helpful :)

    love the vid btw!

  • @drea77771 I'll add it to my list and see what I can do =)

  • I love the mineral set. The little kabuki I use every day!! Great video! :)

  • @Jdazzler15 Thank you!

  • i've been thinking of getting ecotools brushes for ages - i think i might treat myself after my exams are finished

  • @michelle80025 Good luck on your exams! =)

  • i always look forward to seeing that you've uploaded a new video in my subscription box :)

  • @michelle80025 Aw thank you! I appreciate it!

  • GREAT video !!! ilove that they are eco friendly!!!but sadly im not allowed to wear makeup :/ but when i can i will def but their brushes !i hope to collect alot !thanks for explaining what the brushes were for because it really helped!:D so when i start wearing makeup i will know what each brush is for !:D<3 GREAT video girl!

  • @candy98heart I didn't really start wearing as much makeup as I do now until I was maybe 18 or 19. I would never use brushes or anything in middle/high school because I wore only eyeliner most of the time. No rush! =)

  • @rebeccakelsey haha ,yea im not going to start wearing foundation till im 18 and stuff like that because the sooner you use those ,the sooner your skin starts to age !thanks :Dim probably just going to start with the basic ,eye liner ,and a litttle blush ,and lipgloss haha :D

  • @beautytiptwins Let me know if you have any questions about them =)

  • @rebeccakelsey are they cheap or are they expensive ? you prob answered in the video but i forgot sorry!!

  • @beautytiptwins she mentions that the prices are located in the description box. check that.

  • Ecotools seem really great quality and what they stand for is great! but where I live expensive - the 5 piece set you showed first is around $25 converted!!!

Maybe if I have a bit of money floating I may purchase one!! Haha!!

Thanks for this video Rebecca! Because you can also apply what you said you could use the brushes for with other brushes!!!
