oh god. this is so bad. who are the guys in the pony hair jacket and pilgrim hat? ed bruce wrote this god damn song, so how is it that waylon and willie are credited for telling such a great story. in my opinion, waylon and willie butchered the song, though i do care for both otherwise. listen to ed bruce's version. the song makes a lot more sense when he sings it.
