Something everyone is forgeting. Hawkman's wings aren't real. They're artifical and part of his costume. He also has something called Nth metal which makes the himself and whole rig light enough to fly and he has to have both for them to work.
i dont get this,wouldnt green lantern just have to charge his ring?..and damn it,hawkman still has his wings,did they suddenly become paralyzed or something?
haha,he lost the super strength to fly around with his heavy self but he can still walk?..nahhh,i think he just lost the ability to flap it or something hahah
...lol if it takes super strength to just walk around then we should all be superheroes.
Hawkman does look incredibly buff after all, the loss of super strength didn't make his muscles vanish into thin air, and considering the wings are feathers and (probably?) hallow bones I don't think he'd be that weak.
That and it's a cartoon sooo... I'll shut up now o.o

@sethbandit Well the cartoon could do a better job explaining it and in fact the comics themselves haven't always been consistant with it. Still, generally it's stated that the wings are artifical and that they won't work without the Nth metal in the suit. It's also been stated (at least in the Justice Leauge cartoon) that Nth metal effected magic and phasing technology. :)

@Sceptylos In the comics, Parallax is trapped in the green lantern central power battery on oa and is the reason that the ring is ineffective on yellow. After Hal Jordan destroys the central power battery he releases Parallax and becomes the host for him. Ever since it was released the ring has been able to work on yellow. And you don't turn evil when you put on a yellow ring, to be able to get the ring you must be able to instill fear into the hearts of people, hence sinestro.
not sure what that red tornado was about because flash is not that big or tall so there realistically should have only been a single red band on the roof surface as tall as flash and an air coloured tornado above him.
A droid can read a Martian's mind? Couldn't he used that power in the beginning to make the battle much more interesting? You would think since the FAILED the 1st invasion they would learn from their mistakes. Jezzz.

He still has to breathe but doesn't need a constant steady supply of new air, the only reason for the breathers/suits in other shows was a preparedness/comfort level thing, he can go into space whenever he wants, just not forever unless he's prepared for a long trip.

For this their 'powers' was everything unique about them that got transferred to the androids. Over simplification, but not poorly done.

@freakxwithxaxpen generally producers use the characters that are most familiar to audience members to get them to watch this. also it gives new audience member a reintroduction to main storylines. some people might not know the new characters, esp. kids because they know more cartoons rather than comic book characters, so they wouldnt really know characters like damien wayne.. could also be liscensing issues since some characters are in use at the moment,etc.

He's just a dweeb in a Hawk costume, GL's weakness is actually yellow (stupidest weakness ever), Although Superman is stornger than the average man without his powers he is not trained in any martial art, and It's Batman's show. Plus, most people's favorite is Batman.
@Chimera1591 Because batman isn't overloaded with powers. He is a normal trained human who puts his personal safety (and sometimes sanity) second and others first. He is the ultimate self-sacrifice hero. All superman shows are okay, but when paired with batman, superman's epicness is put in line and is balanced out by Batmans pure awesomeness. Therefore almost all DC heroes are defined by how Batman interacts with them.

@AndrewDcon Well flight for humanoids really is impossible, the weight to power ratio is unattenable. So maybe he has some rudimentary levitation to help him out.
I've no idea what the deal with green lantern is though. He doesn't have any powers, he just has a single bad-ass gadget from space. And the android wasn't wearing a ring, and doesn't possess willpowers so he couldn't use it anyway. GL should have just been able to recharge.
superman is the worst member of the justice leage. all he has is powers. when he loses his powers he breaks like a little girl, batman fights like a lion and he has no powers, thats a hero, not superman

Everyone's always criticizing all the heroes. Of course Batman is goining to be rescuing all the others on HIS show. All the heroes are great. I agree Batman is one of my favorites but they're all just as good so stop saying crap about the others.

@megas957 for example the yellow energy (fear) is technicly not the GL cores weakness just another power that the elders of the GL core tryed to harnese to have more energy to stop oncoming evil threats I mean the GL core is vanuable to fear and being afraid even tho one of the requirements to be chosen is to be with out fear OR in Hal Jordens case the ability to overcome fear

@freakxwithxaxpen generally producers use the characters that are most familiar to audience members to get them to watch this. also it gives new audience member a reintroduction to main storylines. some people might not know the new characters, esp. kids because they know more cartoons rather than comic book characters, so they wouldnt really know characters like damien wayne.. could also be liscensing issues since some characters are in use at the moment,etc.

Everyone has to know batman is awesome, even without powers. I remember reading a comic where batman has supermans powers while superman is a normal man like batman. Batman single handedly stopped crime for a period of time in gotham, almost killed Bane and defeated members of the JLA. Superman got shot and almost dies

He's just a dweeb in a Hawk costume, GL's weakness is actually yellow (stupidest weakness ever), Although Superman is stornger than the average man without his powers he is not trained in any martial art, and It's Batman's show. Plus, most people's favorite is Batman.

@Chimera1591 Because batman isn't overloaded with powers. He is a normal trained human who puts his personal safety (and sometimes sanity) second and others first. He is the ultimate self-sacrifice hero. All superman shows are okay, but when paired with batman, superman's epicness is put in line and is balanced out by Batmans pure awesomeness. Therefore almost all DC heroes are defined by how Batman interacts with them.

In Batman: Begins, Batman has wings, but he can only glide. Humans are not made to fly. 3. Batman has trained for YEARS, unlike the other heroes who had powers and didn't really train much. Batman has learned up to 100 martial arts! Plus, he has super-effective gadgets in that belt.

@AndrewDcon Well flight for humanoids really is impossible, the weight to power ratio is unattenable. So maybe he has some rudimentary levitation to help him out.
I've no idea what the deal with green lantern is though. He doesn't have any powers, he just has a single bad-ass gadget from space. And the android wasn't wearing a ring, and doesn't possess willpowers so he couldn't use it anyway. GL should have just been able to recharge.

Everyone's always criticizing all the heroes. Of course Batman is goining to be rescuing all the others on HIS show. All the heroes are great. I agree Batman is one of my favorites but they're all just as good so stop saying crap about the others.
