A nothing budget film and it wins an oscar, where Glen Hansard surpasses himself musically after years of gigs and songwriting sessions in Whelans, after a good but somewhat comedic performance in The Commitments. IMHO the movie was great, the soundtrack is mindblowing, my hats off and a huge ty to Mr.Hasard! But nothing will ever compare to me like "The Commitments" that movie was groundbreaking and so refreshing at the time..but "Once" is totally different, different styls, and soo much passion in these songs!!
