Hey Tia, I love your videos. Just a quick question tho', back a while ago you had a video showing how you pulled your hair back in the shower or when it was wet. I've been trying to explain to my sister that it can be done on black folks hair but she thinks it's impossible. My question? What happened to that video? I hope you will consider placing it back in the line up because it is very much needed. (smile) Thanks for sharing. Michelle in Texas
@4theluverNme I haven't removed any videos. Maybe that was in my wash day regimen video, I'm not quite sure. Tell your sister nothing is impossible on black hair it's all about knowing the technique to get to the desired style :)
@Chrissynysc When I was working out I would wear a scarf of something on my head to absorb the sweat so that it would not just sit on my head. If you are sweating profusely I would take it down and redo (rinse and all) at least once a week, more if you feel the need.
Well damn, that looked easy!! It came out so nice and simple...I've been doing the wet bunning method(using a phony pony) now that the weather is getting cooler :-D
This is lovely! I know ponytails can strain your edges when worn consecutively, so do you take a week or 2 week break from bunning and then start again?
@lynnieluve I agree she made it look easy. I have never been able to get a sock bun right. And I had to favorite it as well. This was a great tutorial.
Very nice result

That looks my "broken in" durag but it's gold lol. The "sock" is definitely the key to the perfect bun.

@NaturalEden
I take a 2-3 day break on weekends. I don't pull my ponytails tight so I have not suffered any breakage. I bunned all last winter with no problem.

Wow, what a quick and great way to PS. I never knew how to use a bun former. Thanks for showing us how.
