  • Very nice result

  • Hey Tia, I love your videos. Just a quick question tho', back a while ago you had a video showing how you pulled your hair back in the shower or when it was wet. I've been trying to explain to my sister that it can be done on black folks hair but she thinks it's impossible. My question? What happened to that video? I hope you will consider placing it back in the line up because it is very much needed. (smile) Thanks for sharing. Michelle in Texas

  • @4theluverNme I haven't removed any videos. Maybe that was in my wash day regimen video, I'm not quite sure. Tell your sister nothing is impossible on black hair it's all about knowing the technique to get to the desired style :)

  • Even for working out you can have the bun up to 1 week?

  • @Chrissynysc When I was working out I would wear a scarf of something on my head to absorb the sweat so that it would not just sit on my head. If you are sweating profusely I would take it down and redo (rinse and all) at least once a week, more if you feel the need.

  • Very nice & quickly done not like some videos that drag on forever, i will try this :-D

  • pretty haaaaiiirrr

  • Love this vid! You get right to it and don't waste time 'cheesing' in the camera. Wore my bun to work and everybody loved it.

  • very nice and sleek! love it! only recently started trying out buns!

  • where did u get the round thingy :D

  • @catalinahas I made it from a pair of dress socks.

  • @tiashauntee Damn it. You have to make those? I have seen other sock bun videos but just assumed people bought them like that. Ha ha. : )

    Nice video.

  • this is this most simplest bun i've ever seen... WOW

  • Well damn, that looked easy!! It came out so nice and simple...I've been doing the wet bunning method(using a phony pony) now that the weather is getting cooler :-D

  • @Shaaliyah83

Thanks hon!!! You too, I watch all the "work" you post.

  • So simple and pretty ~

  • very nice tia!! thanks!

  • Great vid as usual Sis!!

  • Beautiful!!!

  • Gorgeous bun!

  • Looks great as usual. I have tried the bun but I don't think my hair is quite long enough. Thanks for sharing.

  • I love your hair tutorials, I have to try this bun

  • That looks my "broken in" durag but it's gold lol. The "sock" is definitely the key to the perfect bun.

  • This is lovely! I know ponytails can strain your edges when worn consecutively, so do you take a week or 2 week break from bunning and then start again?

  • @NaturalEden

I take a 2-3 day break on weekends. I don't pull my ponytails tight so I have not suffered any breakage. I bunned all last winter with no problem.

  • Wow, what a quick and great way to PS. I never knew how to use a bun former. Thanks for showing us how.

  • @ChrsLvsBks

I was never able to do buns until I discovered the "sock"

  • You made that look super easy!! I am gonna favorite this video for future reference.

  • @lynnieluve

    I can't wait to see!

  • @lynnieluve I agree she made it look easy. I have never been able to get a sock bun right. And I had to favorite it as well. This was a great tutorial.
