those were not screens set by pierce and allen they were collisions that may or may not have happened on purpose. if they were on purpose its just good strategy. the offensive is somewhat debatable but pierce was playing legal defense and throwing an arm like that is illegal to do on offense against defense. a push off is legal but that was no push off it was a swing. the trip im not so sure about that most definitely could have been an illegal screen but not an intentional trip not often called

Of course it's the NBA's fault. It's their job, and their responsibility, to make sure that games are officiated fairly and uniformly. If they just look the other way because it's more convenient to ignore the problem than to deal with it (see also: Tim Donaghy), then it is absolutely, positively, their fault. And if they didn't know about it, then they SHOULD HAVE known, because turning a blind eye to such things ruins the game.

What you have is no DEFINITIVE proof of cheating. Just bad ref's who missed calls. But, of all the major league sports we have, the NBA is by far one of the more better referee'd organizations. Look at the finals matchups after that: Lakers-Pistons, Pistons-Spurs, Mavs-Heat (which, IIRC was decided by a VERY questionable call at the end of the final game), Spurs-Cavs, Lakers-Celts, Lakers-Magic, Lakers-Celts again, and Mavs-Heat again. Other than the Spurs-Cavs bore-fest, it seems like the NBA suddenly started getting good finals out of nowhere. Gee, I wonder how that happened...

Think about it. 2000-2001 : was the Lakers vs the Pacers, OK cool, so we got to watch Reggie Miller play against 5 guys for 6 games, real fun. The following 2 years were just as boring with it being the Lakers vs the 76ers and the Nets. Lol. Ok? Btw, the Celtics are almost always victims of this so even if it is true. Its what they get for the 2010 finals. Pau Gasol traveled, and the lakers got 21 fouls called. You have to try to give out that many fouls in one fourth quarter.

those were not screens set by pierce and allen they were collisions that may or may not have happened on purpose. if they were on purpose its just good strategy. the offensive is somewhat debatable but pierce was playing legal defense and throwing an arm like that is illegal to do on offense against defense. a push off is legal but that was no push off it was a swing. the trip im not so sure about that most definitely could have been an illegal screen but not an intentional trip not often called

1) I'm not a New York fan. In fact, Last year I posted a video of the NBA finals where Boston was the VICTIM of bad officiating.
2) How do you not call a foul when the guy sticks out his leg and trips the defender, right in front of you? No mistake there, just a ref deciding to ignore a foul.
3) Carmello pushed off? I think not. Pierce grabbed him, then flopped backward when Melo tried to get his arm free. A mistake perhaps, but inconsistent with the calls on the other end.
