YEs, but you must make sure you are on the lowest f stop and the subject is real close (like a head and shoulders shot) and the background is very far away.
We wanted this video to concentrate on focus techniques, depth of field and the d90 filming process, so we did not touch on exposure. We were worried about adding too many subtopics, so we chose to leave that out. It was an even overcast day, but im sure exposure lock on our subject may have yeilded a more accureate image
