I've never flown to the Aran Islands, and I don't know whether I ever will. Most people get the ferry. That's what I think anyway, having lived here all my life. Islanders fly, but then they get a discount and they are not doing the tourist thing, just going to do their business in the city/other places on the mainland.
You can't come to Ireland without visiting Galway, and you can't visit Galway without visiting the Aran Islands. Enjoy your trip!
0:11 it's not Gaelic it's Gaeilge or Irish!!!

'Fastest Growing City In Europe' eh!? I 'voiced' commercials for Atlantic Sound in 1984 and WLS Music Radio 1985/86 that stated the same thing.
At the time, Galway was in the grip of a downturn...thank goodness Galway woke up to its potential.
Hope my 'vo's' did something for 'The City Of The Tribes'...:-)
