What if you have two clips, an establishing shot, and the second a shot of someone talking...How do you make it so that the first few seconds of audio from the second clip starts playing during the last few seconds of the first clip?

I have a question on movie editing. I wanna know how to talk in a video and with no hesitation, have me talking, go right into another clip. Like they do in movies. so like if i wanted to do a clone, i wanna make it look like im talking to the clone and the clone is looking at me. Can you please help?

@cheeseytuna1234 Sounds like you are good at figuring this out yourself. That is great! I too was able to figure it out on my own, but some people find computers intimidating and so I tried, in this series, to give a thorough slow paced tutorial on how to use just about every feature, but I broke it up into categories so people could watch just the video topic that they were having difficulty with as well.

@AsktheTechies hey! thanks :D the reason why i came to your video's were to find out an efficient way to reverse then play forward and back again ect ect on my project, i literally started with imovie 09 yesterday, after not bein able to figure out final cut pro,, and the best way i figured was to play forwards, copy and paste the clip, change to reverse, then copy the original, then the reversed. is there a better way?? much appreciated! :D

@cheeseytuna1234 It's cumbersome, but it sounds like you've found the best way to do the reverse/forward sequence that you describe.
