Wow! Steve and Kayla are an amazing couple! I remember this story when it aired, and it's great to be able to see it again here. I wasn't watching Days for early Steve and Kayla, and still have some catching up to do! wish they'd bring them back to days though!
This is the only good part of their return. :( I got shivers watching this, and watched it proudly, knowing I had seen all of the flashbacks when they originally aired. DAYS did a great job with him remembering his life with Kayla and viewers who were not watching when they were first on were able to get an idea of why they were so popular. But after this, the show just didn't know what to do with them. What a shame.
@campbellka I loved some of Steve and Kayla's SCENES when they returned. Lots of them, actually. There were plenty of special scenes in the period between 2006-2009. But there were NEVER any good STORIES, and that's a shame. But when I'm in the mood for Steve and Kayla's 2006-2009 run, I look on lska's channel and I can find some great scenes. Too bad no one could connect them into a good story or two. Stephen and Mary Beth deserved that.
This is an amazing couple.....DAYS did not do them justice bringing them back....the writers had no clue about the history and magic this couple shared...I miss them .Ken Corday is more than an idiot for letting them go last year....Nichols is an amazing actor and Evans is just a darling..This supercouple is one of daytime's finest.
But does anyone have a vid of their relationship from begin to end. Rather it was made by u or not. Came in here after finding out how they meet n would like to see that plus more. Thanks to any help.

I miss them too. :o( Ken Corday is not only a jerk, he's an idiot--to get them back and let his writers write shite for them (Tamara Braun's crappy obsessed character and Steve and Bile crap) and not to pursue Steve's missing years--EJ was involved? Oh PUH--LEEEEZE! What a waste. I wish someone would buy DAYS from KC, rehire the fired vets, fire the nubes, and create a new show using the characters we love. S&K, J&M, B&H, J&J, T&A & K&S.

These two are so phenomenal together. Great chemistry and oustanding acting talent. After all of these years and it feels like they never left. Even as he breaking up with her, you can feel how deeply Steve feels for her and how much he respects her.
