I was being sarcastic. Yes politicians dissapoint at every turn. As appealing as these trains are, they really would do little for the average Indian compared to the money it would cost. First rule of fiscal responsibility, Don’t spend money on shit you don’t need with money your don’t have.

@trainluvr Well, yes, it's true that these metros are hardly as necessary as a good plan for poverty-reduction or population control, but regardless, the politicians do literally nothing. I have yet to see any improvement, in any sector.

You corrupt politicians,I thought of traveling Cochin in a maglev and you asses changed it into a simple electric train system?WTF?Even children know maglev's are faster,more efficient etc.No wonder India develop in a snail's pace.Look at China.They have 500km/h train and they are looking for new technologies such as maglev's in vacum tubes to increase efficiency and we are still going for outdated trains?If any ass politicians or officials see this,make a 500 km/h train.Losers!!!
