I love LED watches and this is very nice but I prefer a traditional , simple red LED display just showing the time , etc. The original 70s ones ( and the modern versions ) have just got a beauty to them that nothing else can quite capture.

If they put this technology into a mobile phone, and promoted it to be cool like "skull candy " headphones, we would see a fad of teenagers and even kids lining up to buy them.

That would bring OLED to a large audience.

Technology rarely makes progress when the only people who know about them are those who are looking out for new technology. If Blu Ray wasn't supported and promoted it probably would have failed to HD-DVD.

OLEG could be popular is it's cheaper and marketed well.

This is only 3 color OLED, similar to the old space invaders video game where they put colored tape over a black and white CRT display. The display is only bright enough for indoor use. The band is stiff and bulky and pulls hairs. The lens is not mineral, just plain plastic which will scratch up quickly. I bought one and had less fun owning it than I did watching it on YouTube.
