we call it nola here...we have a TV station called NOLA 38....all the members of the band are from New orleans...where the hell did you get Los angeles from? I'm not trying to be a dick...but you sholud actually do research on things you are reviewing..before you review them....

This album is amazing and I consider all 3 of the Down albums so far to be masterpieces. Down III was amazing too, a great blend of the first 2 albums and I look forward to the next one.
Yeah, Down is not for everyone. It's more for the miserable, burnt out, sludge crowd. Black Sabbath and Pantera fans. I can't stand Pantera most days but Black Sabbaths first 2 album were awesome.
Don't know why. Came off the top of my head. You should give Shriekback a listen. I have like their famous album oil and gold and their new ones Glory Bumps and Comorant (sp_ too lazy_) are strangly brilliant.
