That was the purpose : play that great RJ song in a Chris Whitley's way...The music is from Chris Whitley. As I'm unable to sing Whitley's lyrics, I put Johnson's instead ;-)
i actually liked it better then the original way. if you listen to all of robert johnson's songs... they're pretty similar. dont get me wrong, he was an amazing musician, but it gets old seeing 50 people cover the same song the same way on youtube.
Absolutely bob on. I would have paid good money to see that live. Perhaps you could do some kind of lessons and post them on youtube. That would be well received.
