you guys dont get it. this is still and analog pre amp circuit it has nothing to do with tube amps. most players use some sort of fuzz or overdrive pedal to boost their signal! this pedal is very cool! i can't wait to try one out!

To harsh for me.  Still great if you're going for that sound though. I'm more interested in smooth creamy distortion, with as little crunch as possible.

Can someone recommend me a smooth as butter distortion that sounds great with an SSS strat?

I'm thinking the Kanji classic distortion, but it's kinda expensive.
