@pikachupika1000 Decidedly. Especially since, from what I've seen of translated lyrics, the Japanese have a very different philosophy from ours when it comes to writing lyrics for songs. They simply don't translate well into one another, because they're written for very different purposes and in very different ways.

How many people are frigin stoked for the Anime Final?

Godness, the first anime was ok, but really not that great. In my opinion, the manga was many times better (cause there was Rakan (Lol)). For those who have only seen the anime (the first one), i highly recomend reading the manga, then watching the 3 OVAs, then the first 4 New World episodes ( cause Rakan is there XD ).

I'm sorry guys but the best, most awesome character in Mahou Sensei Negima is clearly Jack Rakan (the close friend/eternal rival of Negi's Dad). Anyone who has read the manga should know why, as he doesn't appear in the first two anime series (except in the portrait of Nagi Springfield and his comrades; Jack is the guy with the big sword). Hopefully we'll see his ridiculously epic fight with Negi animated in the upcoming movie.

Although they are called seasons they are not really seasons and are more stand-alone series

The storylines though were also written by different people, Series 1 is Negima! by Ken Akamatsu, while season 2 is loosely based off Negima?! Neo by Takuya Fujima.

Most of the events in season 1 do happen, (one way or another, the basis for the story is somewhere) in the manga, although once episode 22 comes along its totally different obviously.
