always loved the Viper, corvett started to copy the same look ie:hood lights flares.

and although the V10 is lighter than the sr8 It would seem if the engine was cut in half with twin turbos, maybe people would take Dodge a bit more well serious. the 911 and supra have done well with it.

@biomansoil cut the engine in half? are you serious? thats the dumbest thing ive ever heard. you would really want to turn this beast into an overstressed, under acheiver. that engines displacement is almost perfect(it could be bigger). the viper V10 weighs less than the supras 2jz and is ALOT more capable. that V10 at 1500hp(which can be done EASILY on pump gas)will outtlast a 3 liter at 1000hp ten times over.

I think they will be no more Dodge Viper produced from end 2010 until 2013. In 2013 they will make the third generation of Dodge Viper. I'm not sure for the things I just said.

Correction: The CURRENT Gen Viper ends in 2012. The Next-gen Viper will debut in 2012. Fiat knows the importance of halo cars, unlike Cerberus. Ralph Gilles has already commented on this. They're even working on designing a new dual-clutch transmission for the 2012 release, with some help and design insights from Ferrari. No shared parts though. And they will continue with the current 8.4L V10, but they're not sure if they want to stay at 600hp or add more. I say bring it on!!

nah i disagree for the money the zr1 is a better performance bargin the zr1 is just as fast as the acr and the zr1 is more useable for a day to day basis.
