Alright thanks, and i have acompletley off topic question... ive been playing this game for a while and im hoping its getting somewhere. Do people mainly raid at 90? Or do they just sit around being bored like in wow?

I don't get the expansion pack system... I got the free trial, then I subscribed and it said I now own 2 expansions. Every time I log In it says sentinels fate. Does this mean that it's the expansion I have? Cause I've heard SF includes all the expansions.

@Laxmaster72 No, since that is the newest expansion, it always shows Sentinel's Fate on the splash screen. Like if a new expansion called Cataclysm (lol), it will show Cataclysm on startup even if you don't have it.

hehe Wow was long AFTER eq1 and let me tell ya i been on EQ2 almost since day one . you better know ya toon and how to play . epics can be ruff and tuff zones will eat crappy players for lunch .

This game looks great! It looks better than even the new games with their new graphic systems.  When the new shaders come online it's going to look even better! I also feel like I am in a world in this game. Aion every friggin zone is a big closed circle. The textures in particular are better than any other game I have seen so far. Solo play is much more challenging than WOW, you actually have to be on your toes. Just my opinion, and it really just comes down to a matter of taste.

SoE is failing because there is no new content other than endgame, its not "fresh faces". The last thing i need is a noob solo healing PoF or some crap.

SoE needs to make the WHOLE game fresh and fun, and worthwhile for the players who already know they like the game. I mean really - how many ppl have not heard of EQ ya know?

I will Re-Sub the day they redo the graphics to be more in line with todays current titles, I am sure their are at least 20,000 other accounts that feel the way I do. Also fresh graphics on par with todays games will give eq2 a flux of new players. Right now Eq2 is that really nice fat girl nobody wants. Time for a diet and some plastic surgery HO

Cmon Soe Look at games like Aion, Look at games like Dragon Age Origins Look at their graphics and scaling thats what most of your players have come to expect in the last 6 years you need to wakeup and smell the coffee its time to release something with out outdated graphics, No one will dispute the game mechanics they are the best but playing it now makes my eyes bleed.

At 1:13 in the video, what is that rat creature? I hope that isn't a upgrade to the ratonga or something. The texturing looks like it needs work. I hope it's a cousin race or something else, but please don't change the current models to look like that, whatever you do...

I dont thats a new model for them, nothing like that has been announced. Though the expansion is supposed to elaborate on Erudite and Ratonga lore. The erudite one is supposed to elaborate on why eq2 erudites look so different from typical eq1 erudites. I imagine something along those same lines will happen for Ratonga as well.

The roekillik I think it is. Basically a rat race made before ratonga that proved to be too powerful, so Brell Serilis locked them up and made what is now called the Ratonga. Earthquakes (the cataclysm before eq2 stroyline starts) allowed the roekillik to escape.

That could make sense. It's possibly a lesser evolved ratonga, or a roekilik, even though the rks in the game right now look like mini ratonga, but that was during the days when SOE skipped on using custom models, hence why nathan ironforge looks like a shrunk down man rather then using the child models from fallen dynasty.
