I grew up in Hamilton. I lived in the east end for over 40 years, I could see the tower from my bedroom window with my binoculars.

Which was the station that had all the Canadian stars singing their National Anthem? I've been trying to find it here on U Tube. I'm from the border, near the Niagara Peninsula, in Western New York. It might have been Global- has anyone seen it on here?

It looks like they've recycled the voiceover and national anthem from the 1979 sign-off that robatsea2008 posted using different visuals (I assume this is from the mid-1980s?)

The national anthem video is odd, almost home video amateur style. The editing and zoom techniques are amusingly reminiscent of old Japanese martial arts movies.
