This is in Husaybah on the Syrian border. These guys are from 3/2 both India and Weapons Company. They did this pretty much everyday there, and a lot of these guys are not first timers. Once your ears start ringing, you can't hear shit. If you have never been in combat, I suggest you keep your mouth shut. If you want to criticize, enlist, go infantry (grunts), go on four deployments (to war zones), and THEN put in your two cents. Otherwise, stick to COD like the jerk-offs you are.

Gunfire is what we call very very loud. So loud in fact that you may not hear someone yelling cease fire. Much like you can't hear someone talk in a disco.
The second little part is when you are in full crap your pants type combat you often can't hear anything. This is caused by auditory excusion which is caused by a life and death level of fear dumping adreniline in to the blood stream. The team leader was yelling cease fire, the marines just might not have been able to hear the orders.

obviously you've never been in a firefight. you think you can hear shit when m16, m249, m240G, m2, are going off all at the same time? keep your thoughts to yourself if you're not 100% sure of what you're talking about.
