Why the cutting and mixing with pictures of real animals?
On these walls are not simple representation of animals, those are complex symbols and images of legends that are still present in our universal culture.
And stop with the "alien made it"comments!
You don't know that the neurology, psychology and sociology demonstrated that we are all children of the caves and in our minds we never really left them even now.
Those are our grandparents telling us amazing stories by the fire.
It was the end of the last ice age, Britan and Europe was connected by a landbridge. The anatomy of the animals and the colors are very good! I am painting and I know, how difficult it is, to paint on a rocky cavewall - with earth colors and used wooden twiggs as a brush or pencil. If they would have such good graphic equipment like we have today, they would be able to paint a mona lisa for example. Even 10.000 years later the people began to paint again in ancient Greece.
I actually loved the music. Music (any genre) when used properly can transcend the visual experience and touch the soul. It was captivating and I will use this clip for my World Art History homework. Thanks for sharing!!
Incredible travellers from ancient times. You can see the pictures where drawn by happy people which lived as a part of nature. And their art is timeless. Just imagine the timescale! Nothing we make or produce today will last a fraction of that. The pictures will be there long after we will be gone. In a million years when some aliens land on this planet they will wonder who or what drawn it. They left nothing else. But they left probably the most beautifull and honest thing they ever made...
@slavkola Don't be naive. It was the aliens who painted those pictures. They stopped off at Altamira to go for a dump whilst on their way to the Andromeda Galaxy.
Geometric demonstration and discovery of a "sacred geometric pattern" very presumably used in the construction of the great pyramid Gizéh plateau and its what casual? relationship with the "pi" number (with a simple rule and/or bar) 2300 years B.Arquímedes (4600 BC)by farón Khufu
