Nice work. Work a little bit on what dropover said (Be more conversational and work between the beats, varying your phrasing.) and you'll have it down very well. Just wondering, did you learn this by ear or go off tabs? I haven't been able to find any very good tabs for this.
Thanks for the feedback, very useful stuff. I learned the song from a combinatiojn of You Tube vids and tabs and by ear. I have simply created my version. There are loads of versions, even from BD himself over the years. Very cool to see the evolution of his own song. Good Luck.
Sorry, not in the pocket. Has no soul. At least the singing is in tune. And I actually like your voice. You have to get off the downbeat. Be more conversational and work between the beats, varying your phrasing.
Actually I think you did a pretty good job, It is quite a hard song to pick a strum for. (Not to mention trying to remember the various " forever young" parts that change each time). Besides which we are not clones of each other and no matter how a song is sung or played it is always different depending on the performer - it is like cooking - even if the recipe is followed the results taste different with each cook.
Thanks for the nice feedback. I am grateful. Have you seen how many version exist of forever young that exist over the years? I love your analogy about cooking. Even John Lennon said "no song, even your own, is ever sung exactly the same twice".
nice work!!!
